We've rated bathroom specialists including Ideal Standard, Roca and Vitra, based on feedback from 3,745 bathroom customers.

Customers were incredibly satisfied with our top company, as it gained an outstanding score of 89%  head and shoulders above the least-favoured brand, which got 61%.

As well as how satisfied someone is with their bathroom overall, which helps us calculate the customer score, we also asked them to rate specific elements, such as value for money.

Stylish brand Vitra is a bathroom manufacturer rather than a retailer, and it doesn't sell bathrooms directly. You can view its bathroom collections on its website, in online brochures, or by visiting one of its stockists, which you can search for on the Vitra website.

Vitra's bathrooms have a designer feel, for the ultimate, indulgent bathroom look. It also has some innovations, including a smart toilet and one with a built-in bidet function. Vitra says it aims to be a sustainable bathroom producer.

Vitra planning tool

The Vitra Pro online planning tool allows you to design your bathroom in 2D and 3D. You need to register to be able to use it.

Vitra showers

Vitra has a few own-brand shower heads, shower systems and shower sets, but it doesn't have any shower enclosures, trays or screens.

We've rated well-known shower brands and tested electric showers to find out how reliable they are and whether they deliver on the manufacturer's claims.

Vitra bathroom furniture

As well as vanity units, Vitra has shelves, mirrored cabinets and mirrors (with lighting options), and freestanding countertops for sinks. Most are contemporary and come in a few colour variations, but there are also a handful of traditional styles.

Visit our page on bathroom furniture to see how furniture from big-name brands Bathstore, Homebase, Duravit, Roca and others were rated. It also has advice on how to buy the best bathroom furniture for you.

Vitra bathroom fittings, tiles and flooring

Vitra makes a wide selection of designer accessories, such as rose-gold towel rails and matt-black soap dispensers.

It also has its own extensive collection of ceramic bathroom tiles, with a host of colours, textures and sizes to choose from. Some of its tiles can be used for both walls and floor. It doesn't sell other types of flooring.
