The fridge features four shelves, three door racks and a crisper drawer, with three additional drawers in the freezer. This model holds approximately 12 bags of shopping, placing it in the medium-capacity range.

A fast-freeze function promises to swiftly cool new food added to the freezer, but there’s no corresponding super-cool feature in the fridge.

Haier claims that its HDPW5618DWPK fridge freezer has precise and perfect humidity control in the fruit and veg box, so your salad will remain fresh and crisp for longer.

It has numerous functions, including quick cooling and freezing, as well as a holiday and eco mode. It also has wi-fi connectivity so some functions can be controlled using an app on your phone or tablet.

The fridge has three shelves, one that’s adjustable, and a bottle shelf. The fridge door will sound an alert if it stays open for too long.

The freezer has three drawers. It’s a no-frost model, so manual defrosting will no longer have to be on your to-do list.

Hisense RB5K330GSFC

With a depth of 60cm, Hisense claims this fridge freezer is designed to ‘fit into almost any kitchen space without compromising your overall kitchen design’. That could be handy if you have a small kitchen.

The fridge and freezer space is split 65/35. The fridge has four shelves, three door racks and two drawers, while the freezer below has three drawers. The cool Fresh Box in the lower part of the fridge provides storage for more fruits and vegetables.

It has what Hisense calls an Underside Cooling System, which it claims vents at the front of the product, unlike traditional rear venting machines. This reduces the space needed at the back, which is why it isn’t as deep as many models.

This is a smart appliance. It can be controlled using the Haier hOn app on iOS and Android devices.

It has three shelves, two drawers and door racks, plus a bottle shelf in the fridge and three more drawers in the freezer. The controls and display are positioned in the middle of the drawers, which Haier says is ergonomic and practical.

It features four shelves, four door racks, three drawers and a bottle rack in the fridge. The freezer has four shelves, two drawers and two door racks. There’s a water dispenser in the freezer door attached to an internal tank, so you don’t need to plumb it into the mains water supply. There’s also an automatic ice maker.

Fast-freeze and super-cool functions help to rapidly chill new items. This is a smart appliance that can be controlled remotely using the LG ThinQ app on iOS or Android devices.

At its heart is the VitaFresh XXL Pro 0°C system, which utilises climate-controlled drawers to extend the life of your groceries. One drawer features a slider to adjust temperatures for meat and fish, while the other offers adjustable humidity for crisp produce.
