How much does Start Rescue breakdown cover cost?

What makes a Which? Recommended Provider for breakdown cover?
To become a Which? Recommended Provider (WRP) for breakdown cover, providers must:
- have an overall score of at least 70%
- have a customer score of at least 70%
- score at least three stars in all areas rated in our customer satisfaction survey.
The best-performing providers that meet the above criteria are deemed Which? Recommended Providers.
To become a Great Value provider for breakdown cover, providers must:
- have an overall score of at least 65%
- have a customer score of at least 65%
- score at least four stars for value for money
- be cheaper than the market average in our price analysis.
We rank breakdown providers by their overall score. The overall score is made up of:
- 50% customer score
- 30% wait time score
- 20% outcome score.
All ratings are based on survey responses from more than 8,000 people who experienced a breakdown in the 12 months before our survey.
The customer score reflects how satisfied customers say they are with their provider and how likely they would be to recommend it. Providers must have a minimum sample size of 40 to be given a customer score.
