Not content with TV streamers, tablets and speakers, Amazon is now turning its hand to TVs, with three ranges. The 40-inch HD40N2200U is from the most basic range (there is no Series-1) and has Full HD panel, so no 4K. It’s one of the cheaper TVs we’ve tested this year – but this isn’t unusual for Amazon, which often undercuts more established tech rivals in other areas. Is it worth your money? Picture quality tests include broadcast 1080i high-definition TV, Freeview, Freeview HD, viewing angle and the stability of motion in fast action scenes. We also test for 4K Ultra HD and HDR if the TV can support these pictures.
