After weeks of tracking the price of this product for genuine deals it's great to see the Black Friday sales finally bring the price down by £50 from its recent trend. The Ninja Foodi Dual Zone is a large air fryer with two cooking drawers, which each hold 3.8 litres, for a total capacity of 7.6 litres. It comes with six automatic programs: max crisp, air fry, roast, reheat, dehydrate and bake.
Each drawer can run its own program and timings, and there’s a useful sync function that ensures the food in both drawers is ready to serve at the same time. It does this by starting the slower program first, so both timers reach zero simultaneously.

Tefal Easy Fry Pizza FW4018G0

As the name suggests, it’s an air fryer specifically designed for cooking pizza, although that isn’t all it does. Tefal claims its Extra-Crisp technology and double heaters ‘ensure crispy results in no time’.
Seeing the name ‘Easy Fry’, you’d hope this Tefal air fryer would be a doddle to use. There are digital controls for adjusting time, temperature and other settings.
There are 10 pre-set programs to choose from: Fries, Nuggets, Chicken drumsticks, Fish, Vegetables, Cookies, Bacon/Beef bacon, Dehydration, Frozen pizza and Fresh pizza. You can also set your own time and temperature if you prefer.

Ninja Crispi FN101UKGY

Clearly blue appliances are less in demand in the modern kitchen; you can save yourself an extra £5 by plumping for the 'cyber space blue' version of this air fryer at several retailers. Expect to pay at least £124 for the stone and sage colourways - although that is still a good price for this air fryer.
It’s an innovative plastic air frying lid (that Ninja calls the PowerPod) that clips onto the supplied glass cooking containers. Two sizes are provided in the box, each with its own Tupperware-type lid so you can get your pre-prepped food straight out of the fridge and onto the table without making more washing up, or even take it on the go. There’s also a size adapter to make the air fryer lid fit the larger dish, and two crisper plates.
Its maximum cooking capacity (using the larger container) is 1kg - on the smaller side for air fryers we’ve tested, but big enough for generous portions for a couple.

If you’re only just getting into air frying, or don't have much space in your kitchen, this Zwilling basket model may appeal. It comes with all the standard features and has a decent 4-litre capacity, according to the manufacturer.
As you might expect for a smaller, cheaper model there is only one cooking basket. It has six pre-set functions – chips, chicken, prawns, fish, pizza and cake – so you can select the food you're cooking and the time and temperature are calculated for you. There are no other functions, although you do have the option of programming the time and temperature manually.

Philips 3000 Series NA342/09

According to Philips, ‘delicious, full, homemade meals are just a few easy steps away’ with this black plastic air fryer which is from the higher end of the Philips range.
It has a lot to offer with 16 cooking functions, from baking and grilling to defrosting and reheating, and the touchscreen has 12 presets. The non-stick coating in the cooking chamber and dishwasher-safe removable parts, means you'll spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your favourite meals.

The Philips 5000 Series NA555/09 is a black and silver dual-zone air fryer. Its design includes two separate drawers – with claimed 3-litre and 6-litre capacities. We measured this gives you a 1.4kg capacity to work with.
The fryer features 10 preset programs, including chips, steak, fresh potatoes, vegan dishes, chicken drumsticks, fish, vegetables, bread, muffins and even dumplings using the steam function.

How to spot a good deal on an air fryer
Brianna Watson, Which? small appliances expert, says:
- Air fryer prices usually drop between 20% and 50% when they're on sale. If the appliance is discounted by 50% or more, make sure the original price you're seeing hasn't been overstated to give you the impression of a bigger saving. Compare current prices to our 'cheapest price in the past six months' before you buy.
- When it comes to multi cookers, don't be upsold on features and settings you're not going to use. Multi cookers are usually on the expensive side, but premium models with extravagant-sounding features can cost £300 or more. If you don't want to spend that much, think about which cooking modes you're actually going to use and avoid overpaying.
- Retailers tend to raise their prices leading up to Black Friday, Boxing Day or other shopping events, so chances are that the model you have your eye on will drop in price later down the line. Use price comparison sites such as PriceRunner and PriceSpy to check historical price data, and do a quick Google search as some retailers' price feeds aren't picked up by these sites. If you're looking to replace an ageing air fryer by shopping in the sales, make sure you dispose of your old one correctly.
There are plenty of ways you can offload your unwanted appliances. One option is kerbside collection for small electrical items – in many cases, your local council will collect smaller items such as toasters and kettles. Alternatively, you can drop items at a local recycling centre or hand them over to retailers that have their own recycling schemes.
