iPhones are still some of the hottest smartphones around, but bagging a big discount on any Apple product is no easy task. Our curated list of the best iPhone deals will help you find the best options right now.
Our experts have been trawling the sales to bring you some of the best deals on iPhones and highlight even bigger savings in the second-hand market. We've put the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air through our rigorous lab testing too – but you won't find big discounts yet, as they are so new there are few deals to be found.
We also look at how to get the most money for your old iPhone, whether you're planning to buy the handset outright or want an iPhone on contract.

Retailers sometimes use misleading ‘was’ and ‘before’ prices to claim their deals are good. Media sites and artificial intelligence (AI) promote deals from retailers – but do they always check/verify them first? We don’t just take retailers’ word for it, we track actual market prices over six months. We share cheapest and average calculations and evaluate products against strict performance benchmarks. So you get good quality at honest prices.
*References to ‘average price' and 'cheapest price' are based on Which? market knowledge and information supplied by our partners. Prices are checked for the six calendar months prior to publication. Not all retailers are included in our checks.
Now is a prime opportunity to save on the older iPhone 16, 15, and 14. While the new iPhone 17 is likely too fresh for major discounts, we’re tracking every price drop regardless. We typically only recommend deals that are 20% off the recent average price. However, significant Apple discounts are rare. To ensure you don't miss out, we’ve curated the best genuine, if small, iPhone offers available right now.

We outline all these in the next section and beyond, but will cover the 17 range and current prices first. Stuck on which iPhone to go for? Find out which Apple iPhone is for you.
We recommend sticking to the iPhone 14 or newer if you're considering an older model. It all comes down to software support; older models stop receiving major iOS updates much sooner. That means you’ll miss out on new features and, more importantly, could be left without critical security patches to protect your data.
The iPhone 13 is a tougher call. It’s still a capable phone, so if you spot one at a rock-bottom price, it’s certainly tempting. Just be aware that its software support will likely end in under two years, meaning you'll be shopping for an upgrade again before you know it.
This is where exploring the refurbished market can be a brilliant strategy. For our expert tips on how to get a great deal on an older phone safely, read on.
Before buying an iPhone, consider looking at the second-hand and refurbished market, as this is often where the best savings can be found. iPhones dominate this market, which means prices are competitive.
When buying second-hand, double-check that the phone is still supported with security updates. If it's no longer supported, hackers could exploit vulnerabilities in its software. Some second-hand retailers, such as MusicMagpie, will warn you in the specifications if a phone no longer has security support – but many won't. Use the Which? phone support calculator to find out how long you can expect to get support.
Second-hand phones are sold with a grade based on their condition. Our research shows that a grade B (or equivalent 'good') will generally get you the best deal, balancing price with the quality of features.

Despite the release of the iPhone 17 series, the iPhone 15 remains a brilliant choice in 2026. The phone features a refined design with contoured edges and a soft matte glass back, making it more comfortable to hold than the previous generation. It finally swapped the old Lightning port for the universal USB-C and introduced the 'Dynamic Island' — a shape-shifting notification hub at the top of the screen.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the fast and responsive A16 Bionic chip, and the upgraded 48Mp camera delivers professional-grade photos with ease. We expect Apple to support it with regular security updates until at least September 2028.
We've seen it on sale for around £410 in 'very good' second-hand condition at Music Magpie. Find out the full story in our Apple iPhone 15 review.

iPhones are typically expensive, and it's unusual to see significant discounts on the latest iPhones soon after launch. The good news is you can make savings with predecessors, many of which have plenty of life left thanks to Apple's long support periods. For example, while the iPhone 17 launched at the same price as the iPhone 16, you can now find deals on the latter.
If you're about to buy a new iPhone, there are some simple ways to get cash for your old one.
Before parting ways with your old phone, back up your phone's data or transfer it to your new phone so you don't lose anything. Then erase your data by performing a 'factory reset', which can be found in your phone's Settings.
