We reveal how well Royal Canin cat food scored in our pet food survey of more than 1,500 Which? members who own cats.

In our survey, we asked people how satisfied they are with Royal Canin as a cat food brand and whether they would recommend it to a friend. We then combined these to create an overall customer score.
We also asked owners whose cats had eaten Royal Canin whether they'd seen a noticeable difference in their cat's coat, how much their cat likes the food and if it's value for money.

To find out which are the best and worst cat food brands, in November 2021 we surveyed 3,122 Which? members who'd bought pet food recently, including more than 1,500 cat owners, and asked about their experiences with their chosen brand.
We also asked how satisfied customers are with the brand overall, and whether or not they’d recommend it if asked.
