Chicco reviews and Best Buys

Chicco pushchairs feature fabrics that are practical, hard-wearing and come in a variety of cheerful colours. Some are travel system pushchairs compatible with carrycots and some are strollers.

Most Chicco buggies look similar and have an umbrella-fold mechanism (where the pushchair remains the same length but its width reduces when folded, like an umbrella).

Chicco Urban Plus review

This stylish pushchair comes in a range of colours and can be converted from a pram to a pushchair, which means you won't have to buy and store a separate carrycot. It can also be used with a compatible baby car seat.

Find out whether the advantage of converting from a pram to pushchair was enough to be made a Best Buy in our Chicco Urban Plus review.

Chicco OhLaLa review

This is a basic lightweight stroller that is cheap but definitely cheerful with it's range of bright colours. Find out what our parents thought of the shopping basket and how the small wheels coped with rough ground in our Chicco OhLaLa review

Chicco Minimo review

The Chicco Minimo is another lightweight stroller in Chicco's range. The main selling point is its one-handed fold and super-compact size when folded. It even comes with a carrybag. This stroller joins the every growing swathe of compact-fold options available, but is there anything which makes this one stands out from the crowd?

Read our Chicco Minimo review to find out.

How we test Chicco pushchairs

Our experts in the test lab put each Chicco pushchair through more than 30 tests to check its strength, durability and safety in line with British standards, including checking for finger traps or choking hazards.

We assess how easy the pushchair is to push, adjust for children of different ages and fold up. We also assess suitability for public transport and test to see if there's space left in the boot of a standard family car once the pushchair is in there.

The final part of our testing involves a panel of parents (and their babies), who rate the appearance and features of the pushchair. They take each model for a spin to see how easy and convenient it is to manoeuvre on pavements, bumpy ground, up and down stairs, and around other obstacles.
