Samsung Ecobubble reviewed

Among the latest batch of washing machines we’ve rated is the Samsung WF70F5E2W4W Ecobubble, a washing machine with a healthy 7kg capacity and lots of hi-tech features including Smart Check, Samsung’s system for troubleshooting problems using your smartphone.

It’s Ecobubble name refers to technology inside the machine designed to make it more effective at washing at lower temperatures. Ecobubble mixes your usual laundry detergent with water and air before pumping it all into the drum, and Samsung claims this helps detergent penetrate laundry quickly and efficiently. Our review reveals how well the new model scored in our tests for cleaning, ease of use, energy efficiency and more.

We’ve previously reviewed two other models from Samsung’s Ecobubble washing machine range, including the Samsung WF80F5E5U4W and Samsung WF1124XAC. Click to go straight to our reviews of Samsung washing machines.

Putting washing machines to the test

As well as rating models as Best Buys or Don’t Buys, we give ratings from one to five stars for areas including cleaning, spinning and noise. A washing machine that receives five stars for cleaning cottons can remove nearly 85% of tough stains, while a model earning one star may only be able to remove less than 60%. That’s a very visible difference to stains on your clothes.

When we test a washing machine we make more than 300 assessments covering washing, rinsing, convenience and noise. Our tests allow us to separate the best washing machines from the worst, to help you find the right model for your needs.
