12 things we loved this Black Friday

What makes Which? deals different?
Retailers sometimes use misleading ‘was’ and ‘now’ prices to claim their deals are good. Media sites and artificial intelligence (AI) promote retailers' deals, but do they always check them first? We don’t just take the retailers’ word for it; we track actual market prices over six months. We share the cheapest and average calculations, and evaluate products against strict performance benchmarks. This means you get good quality at honest prices.
*References to ‘average price' and 'cheapest price' are based on Which? market knowledge and information supplied by our partners. Prices are checked for the six calendar months prior to publication. Not all retailers are included in our checks.

Best dishwasher deals
Bosch SMV6ZCX10G

- Integrated
- Full size

It has seven programs, including main (Auto 45°-65°) to handle most messes, fast (Express 60°) for when you don't have much time on your hands, plus eco and intensive.
If you want place settings to be ready to go, straight from the dishwasher to the table, you can utilise the extra-dry mode, while 'speedperfect+' reduces selected program lengths. There's also a machine care program, which is helpful for long-term maintenance.

Best built-in oven deal
Bosch S4 HQA574BS3B
Average price in the past six months: £554
Cheapest price in the past six months: £449*

- Single electric

- Pyrolytic cleaning
We like: Good use of space
We don't like: The scaling on the temperature dial could be improved
The Bosch S4 HQA574BS3B built-in single oven has a steam function to ensure juicy joints and crispy baked food. A water bowl and steam tray are included in the box. There’s ample space in this oven to cook large dishes on two levels at the same time.
A useful extra is the pyrolytic self-clean function. This boosts the temperature of the oven to around 500°C, which is hot enough to incinerate stubborn burnt-on cooking spills and reduce them to ash.
Find out whether this oven’s energy efficiency, accuracy and cooking results impressed our lab experts in our Bosch S4 HQA574BS3B review.
