Ikea's kitchen range includes modern, traditional and shaker styles in a range of colours and finishes, including gloss and matt.
Most Ikea kitchens are more contemporary than traditional, with many in white or wood effect.
Ikea says its Metod kitchen 'gives you complete freedom to personalise your kitchen layout, style and functionality, whatever your size of room or budget'. The Enhet kitchens offer a 'more flexible solution', Ikea says, and is designed to be disassembled and reassembled when you move.

We also asked Ikea customers to rate the how well different components of the kitchen lasted, as well as quality of worktops and doors they chose.
Ikea says its kitchens are designed to be installed by you, and its new Enhet range is fitted together using just your hands, by clicking parts into place.
Ikea also has a kitchen installation service or you can choose your own installer to fit your Ikea kitchen.

There is a free kitchen-planning service in store. During your two-hour appointment, you'll work with an Ikea kitchen specialist to create your dream kitchen, it says.
You can have your planning appointment over video call instead. The planner will share their screen so you can see your kitchen design take shape.
You'll need to measure your space before your appointment but, if you're ready, you can order your kitchen as part of your appointment.
Ikea also offers free online kitchen-planning software.
Ikea offers an optional fitting service at extra cost. It's not carried out by Ikea installers but is organised by Ikea. All Ikea units come ready to self-assemble and Ikea says they're designed to be installed by you.
It sells large kitchen appliances from a couple of brands, fitted at extra cost. Ikea doesn't supply kitchen flooring or tiles.
