Wren Kitchens review

Wren claims to be the UK's number one kitchen retailer, but does that mean it's the best?
To find out, we put Wren Kitchens through our rigorous lab tests and asked people who had bought from the brand about their experience.
We assessed three of Wren's kitchen ranges: the Vogue flat-packed units, ready-assembled Infinity units, and the bespoke Infinity Plus range.

Table notes: Lab assessment scores are calculated based on a kitchen’s performance in 19 tests across four key areas – quality of units, loading shelves, drawers and runners and hinges. Ratings are combined to create an overall assessment score.
Our lab scores for all the kitchens we tested ranged from 89% to just 54%.
Two kitchen ranges from two different brands failed our hinges test.
One of Wren's kitchens lost marks for the quality of its shelving.

Wren kitchen costs
To find out how much you can expect to spend on a kitchen, we set up mystery shopping appointments to get prices for all the kitchens that we test.
We started by finding the mid-priced kitchen range for each carcass we test, then attended design appointments with every brand posing as a customer looking to buy a new kitchen.
We asked brands to provide us with prices for the selected ranges in a 12-unit kitchen, without any additional accessories (eg, worktop, sink, taps or appliances).
Kitchen | Range | Price | Discount applied |
---|---|---|---|
Infinity | Shaker Classic White Matt | £4,157.36 | 60% off fully built units, multi-buy savings on decor, 60% off 1 door wall units, 10% off Shaker Classic, 25% off handles |
Infinity Plus | Shaker Classic Ermine Pillow Matt | £6,148.57 | Multi-buy savings on decor, 60% off Infinity Plus Ermine, 60% off 1 door wall units, 25% off handles |
Vogue | Shaker Classic White Matt | £2,985.23 | Multi-buy savings on decor, 50% off decor, 25% off handles |
Table notes: These prices include 12 kitchen units, plus handles, cornices, plinths, pelmets and end panels. Prices include VAT and sales discounts. Prices were collected in May 2025, and are subject to change.
We were quoted between £2,985 and £6,149 for the Wren kitchen we designed.
Bear in mind that this is based on one design appointment and is to be used as an indicator of how much you can expect to pay, rather than a final price.

How much does it cost to fit a Wren kitchen?

We recommend that you always get at least three quotes from different traders before you start any job, and get a fixed price contract if possible (this means the prices can not go up expect in pre-agreed circumstances).
