Boxing Day deals

Although some sales begin in early December, Boxing Day is when the majority of the January sales start. So if you need to upgrade a worn-out appliance, now is the time to buy if you want to save yourself some cash.

Down from £359.99 and costing £259.99 at House of Fraser, this cylinder Dyson vacuum cleaner is great for smaller homes. It’s part of the Dyson Complete range, which includes extras – a stubborn brush and flexible crevice tools, plus Dyzolv for carpet stains. 

The version without these extras is currently £249 on the Dyson website and at Very.

As well as being sleek, it has an effective limescale filter, particularly useful if you live in a hard water area.
