How good is Asda Mobile? 2020 Which? mobile networks satisfaction survey
Before signing up for a new phone deal, read our review of Asda Mobile to see how it did in our regular mobile phone satisfaction survey.
In our latest survey we spoke to more than 4,000 real customers from 13 of the biggest phone providers including EE, O2, Vodafone and Three. They told us exactly what they thought of their phone company, from the customer service on offer to the value for money they get.
In this in-depth review of Asda Mobile, we'll:

What network does Asda Mobile use?
Asda Mobile runs on the EE network. Asda Mobile is a virtual provider, which means it uses another provider's infrastructure – in this case EE's. It offers 3G and 4G coverage.
How good is Asda's mobile coverage?
Until spring 2017, Asda Mobile customers were restricted to 2G and 3G, but the provider has since introduced faster 4G coverage.
To check coverage where you live, use our free interactive mobile network coverage map. Simply enter your postcode into the map and it will tell you how good EE's signal is in your area, as well as comparing it with the other providers.
Asda Mobile's deals and incentives
Asda Mobile offers a variety of 30-day bundles depending on how much you top up, ranging from £5 for 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB data to £25 for unlimited minutes and texts with 15GB of data. There are also data-only bundles for high data users and a "Talk and Text" bundle if you need no data at all.
Asda Mobile doesn't have the range of incentives offered by other networks. But its out-of-bundle prices are extremely low - 8p/minute, 4p/text and 5p/MB.
Asda Mobile stores
Asda Mobile Sim cards and PAYG handsets are available from many Asda supermarkets but there are only a handful of dedicated Asda Mobile stores where you can get help should you need it.
To find your nearest branch, or to get advice over the phone, contact Asda Mobile customer services on 2732 (from an Asda Mobile device) or 0800 079 2732.
Complaints about Asda Mobile
Telecoms regulator Ofcom regularly publishes information on the number of complaints it gets about the main mobile providers. Unfortunately, Asda Mobile's market share is too small for Ofcom to release these figures.
