Smarty is a relatively new mobile provider and makes only its second entry in our mobile network survey. How did its customers rate it?

How good is Smarty mobile?

Before signing up for a new phone deal, read our review of Smarty to see how it did in our regular mobile phone satisfaction survey.

In our latest survey, we spoke to more than 3,300 real customers from 16 of the biggest phone providers including EE, O2, Vodafone and Three. They told us exactly what they thought of their phone company, from the customer service on offer to the value for money they get.

In this in-depth review of Smarty, we'll:

  • give you a full breakdown of how its customers rated it for key factors, including customer service, value for money and incentives.
  • report quotes from real Smarty customers on their experiences.
  • tell you whether it's a Which? Recommended Provider.

Smarty deals and incentives

Smarty only has Sim-only deals that come with no contract ranging from 4GB for £6 to unlimited data for £20 a month. All deals come with unlimited minutes and texts.

It also have three 'data discount' deals where instead of rolling over unused data, they refund the cost of the unused data at a price of 1p per MB.

Smarty does not have out-of-bundle costs as minutes and texts are unlimited and data is bought as an add-on.
