Which? Recommended Providers are the cream of the crop, and the accolade is only given to broadband companies that achieve a customer score of 70% or above.
That's not all. We know that price is important, so companies can only be Recommended Providers if they charge a reasonable price for their services. If they charge too much they're not eligible, whatever score they receive in the survey.

John Lewis standard broadband packages now come with a Sagemcom 2704n router, while fibre customers receive the ZyXEL VMG8924 router. Routers are supplied free of charge.
John Lewis offers only combined broadband and phone packages. You can't take out a broadband-only deal and stick with your existing home phone provider.
While prices don't fluctuate as much as other providers', the company tends not to offer promotional deals or incentives. There are no extra charges on top – to cover your router or fibre connection, for example – and all packages include evening and weekend calls, although you can pay extra to add inclusive anytime, international or mobile calls.
John Lewis Broadband offers 12-month long contracts for all of its deals. However, if you do take up a connection with John Lewis Broadband, keep in mind that it raises the price of all deals each March - by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate of inflation published that January, plus an additional 3.9%.

The company offers three broadband deals with average speeds of either 10Mbps, 36Mbps or 66Mbps, depending on the package you choose. All include an unlimited data allowance, although John Lewis applies traffic management to its packages, prioritising certain content in busy periods.
