Community Fibre broadband deals

Community Fibre offers a number of ultrafast broadband packages in parts of London and a handful of towns in the South East. All its packages are full fibre, also known as 'fibre-to-the-premises' (FTTP), which is the most reliable broadband connection. Find out more in our guide to the different types of fibre broadband.

Community Fibre deals don't include a landline, but it offers internet call plans as an option and you can opt in to keep your current landline number. 

New customers can choose between a 12 or 24-month broadband contract – monthly costs are lower if you sign up for two years.

How much is Community Fibre broadband?

Community Fibre offers full fibre broadband packages with speeds up to 5,000Mbps (5Gbps), including competitively priced deals from 100Mbps. It's more expensive, the Premium WiFi tier guarantees minimum wi-fi coverage throughout your home (see below).

While some providers can hike their prices by as much as 90% when your contract runs out, Community Fibre promises to only increase your monthly fee by £4 per month.

Community Fibre broadband speeds

Community Fibre offers full fibre broadband packages – with ultrafast average speeds of either 100Mbps, 350Mbps, 500Mbps, 1,000Mbps (1Gbps), 2,300Mbps (2.3Gbps), and 5,000Mbps (5Gbps), depending on the package selected.

You can also get its Essential Broadband deal, which offers lower speeds (35Mbps) at a lower price. 

Does Community Fibre put up broadband prices every year?

Yes – so if you do decide to take up a broadband contract with Community Fibre, keep in mind that it will raise the price of your deal once a year in spring.

This is now a fixed price increase. Every April, Community Fibre will increase the cost of your service by £2 per month for those who are in contract.

What is the latest Community Fibre router?

It depends on the speed you choose. Community Fibre's slower deals (under 100Mbps) come with a Linksys WHW01 WiFi 5 Dual-Band router.

If you take a deal with an average speed between 100Mbps and 500Mbps, Community Fibre's broadband packages include a Linksys MX20 WiFi 6 Dual-Band router.

Its 1,000Mbps and 2,500 Mbps packages include a Linksys M60 WiFi 7 Dual-Band router. 

Customers of its 5Gbps Premium speed package get a Linksys M62 WiFi 7 Tri-Band router. 

Where is Community Fibre available?

Community Fibre has its own full-fibre network that's primarily available in parts of London. However, it's also available in a handful of small towns throughout the South East. These can be found in:

  • Essex, Kent, Surrey and Sussex

What is Community Fibre Premium Wifi?

Premium Wifi is available with Community Fibre's 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps and 5Gbps full fibre packages. Premium Wifi guarantees minimum wi-fi coverage of 50Mbps in 12 rooms in total (up to five bedrooms) across up to three floors. Engineers install additional Mesh WiFi 7 routers to extend coverage across your home. 

Community Fibre will pay out three months of free broadband if it fails to deliver the minimum speed. Like most broadband providers, it doesn't guarantee coverage for outbuildings such as garden rooms or garages.

Premium Wifi deals are only available on a 24-month contract.
