We'll tell you exactly what you need to know about all the UK's biggest broadband providers, and help you avoid signing up for a deal you'll come to regret.
Which? Recommended Providers are the cream of the crop, and the accolade is only given to broadband companies that achieve a customer score of 70% or above.
That's not all. We know that price is important, so companies can only be Recommended Providers if they charge a reasonable price for their services. If they charge too much they're not eligible, whatever score they receive in the survey.
SSE supplies the Technicolor DGA122 router free of charge.
SSE offers two fibre broadband packages, both of which have an 18-month fixed term. They include line rental (i.e. you can't get a service excluding this), and there's no option to add a TV service.
SSE’s prices are usually fairly competitive if you bundle in an additional service, so they're likely to be even more appealing to existing SSE energy customers.
All packages include unlimited downloads and SSE does not apply traffic management.
SSE offers two fibre packages, with average speeds of either 35Mbps or 63Mbps depending on the package selected.
