Choosing the best DeLonghi coffee machine for you
DeLonghi coffee machine prices range across pretty much the whole price spectrum, so there's something to suit every budget. Several of the DeLonghi coffee machines we’ve tested cost less than £100, but most cost between £150 and £400. DeLonghi's top-of-the-range bean-to-cup coffee machines, such as the DeLonghi Prima Donna, can exceed £1,000.
All of the DeLonghi coffee machines we’ve tested have some kind of milk frothing mechanism, but their scores for making milky drinks vary. If you want a machine that will let you prepare tasty cappuccinos or lattes quickly, make sure you choose a model that scores well for this.
While most of DeLonghi's bean-to-cup machines are fully automated, it has launched a traditional style model, the La Specialista. This offers a much more hands on coffee-making process, requiring you to prepare the coffee manually, so its ideal for those who like the idea of a freshly ground brew combined with an at-home barista experience.
As well as bean-to-cup and ground coffee machines, Delonghi also make pod machines, including the Latissima range of Nespresso machines, and some Dolce Gusto machines.
