French company Club Med offers luxury all-inclusive holidays in over 70 locations worldwide, including beach breaks, luxury villas, ski trips and specially-designed family holidays. It’s most famous for the dozens of all-inclusive Club Med resort villages it owns or operates.
If you’re after an all-inclusive ski holiday, Club Med is a brilliant choice. In our survey, it scored five stars for the quality of its organisation and food and drink, as well as for how accurately the description of the holiday matched what holidaymakers experienced. Find out more in our full guide to the best ski holiday companies.
However, the provider didn’t fare so well in our beach holiday survey. Club Med received a disappointing 69% customer score, and only a two-star rating for value for money. For sunnier climates, there are better options.

Ski holidays with Club Med have been rated highly by holidaymakers with an 84% customer score. The all-inclusive set up meant customers didn’t have to worry about anything and they could focus on enjoying the Club Med hotel facilities and the slopes.
Beach holidays are a different story. Club Med received an underwhelming 69% customer score in our beach/resort holiday table, ranking 28th out of 30 holiday providers.
It scored a disappointing two out of five stars in four out of six categories, including accommodation, value for money and organisation. The poor organisation score will at least be in part because of issues with transfers that several people complained about. One said that the rest of their holiday with Club Med was perfectly fine ‘except the transportation to our hotel’.
One survey respondent told us they’d had ‘a lot of great holidays’ through Club Med but had been let down by recent experiences. They summarised their experience saying ‘if it all works, Club Med is great, but if you have issues they are extremely disappointing.’
It depends on the holiday. Our latest survey revealed that Club Med skiing holidays are stress free and high-quality. But if you’re after a beach/ resort holiday, you’ll have a better holiday if you book with someone else.
