Santander home insurance overview

The high street bank offers buildings and contents insurance to its customers but its policy is actually underwritten by Aviva Insurance. You can also get 10% cashback on your first year's premiums if you're a Santander 123 customer.

What you need to know about Santander's home insurance: 

  • Charges no interest on monthly instalments
  • Only covers single items up to £2,500
  • Charges a cancellation fee of £28
