Get a quoteDean Sobers, Which? home insurance expert, says:
Sheilas’ Wheels’ Home insurance policy managed scores of 68% for buildings and 59% for contents cover. These were below average for both and in the bottom 40% of policies assessed.
While it didn’t stand out in the analysis, there were areas in which it fared well. It covers repairs to burst pipes, as well as water damage resulting from the leak. Its contents cover also extends to business equipment (up to £10,000) and contents stored temporarily away from the home (£7,500).
We didn’t like its steep admin fees, which included a £58 cancellation fee. And while it covers stolen keys, it doesn’t cover lost keys. which most policies do.
Sheilas’ Wheels’s policy is among the one in seven we examined that comes with personal possessions cover as standard. This protects items that you normally wear, carry or transport on your person, provided the replacement cost is less than £1,500.
