John Lewis says this means you can be confident that you are paying a competitive price - but it does not lead the charge towards the lowest possible prices in the same way that online retailers do.

The 43-inch 43QNED82A6B is the smallest and cheapest of LG’s QNED range. QNED is unique to LG, but it basically means it has quantum dots to boost colour.

It’s more basic than other QNED TVs, which keeps costs low, but still has a few features you don't always find on TVs in this price range: support for Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, recording and pausing live TV with the built-in PVR, a microphone in the remote that enables you to control some parts of the TV with your voice.

LG OLED65C54LA

If your budget stretches into the thousands then there’s no shortage of high-end TVs for you to choose from and it was manufacturer LG that first popularised OLED technology utilised by the OLED65C54LA.

It’s packed with gaming features, most notably the 120Hz screen to really make the most of what modern consoles can do. This, as well as FreeSync and VRR (variable refresh rate) will help games play and look smoother. And Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast are both built-in, so you’ll easily be able to stream content from your phone to your TV.

Best tablet deals at John Lewis

11-inch Apple iPad (2025)

The 2025 iPad is sure to tempt Apple fans, launching at almost half the price of an iPad Air and £170 less than the iPad mini. But recent Apple price rises are filtering through to retailers now and it is hard to find deals as keen as we have seen in the past. But if you want an iPad now, this is the most affordable option.

It has a 10.9-inch screen with 2,360 x 1,640-pixel resolution. It runs on the A16 Bionic chip, which is the same processor found in the iPhone 15.

It has a sleek finish and comes in four colours: blue, pink, silver or yellow. It doesn’t come with Apple Intelligence, though, which is Apple’s latest software features powered by AI.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11

The Galaxy Tab S11 is a premium tablet from Samsung. It feels solid and well made in your hands, yet it's also fairly light (469g) and easy to carry around.

Its 11-inch screen has an anti-glare coating that does a good job of minimising reflections – which is worth thinking about if you regularly use a tablet outdoors or like to immerse yourself in a movie. 

The Tab S11 isn't cheap, so it feels a little stingy that you don't get a charging plug in the box (you do get a charging cable). However, unlike its iPad rival from Apple, Samsung does include an S Pen stylus. This snaps magnetically to the back to charge and feels natural for scribbling notes or drawing.

Best laptop deals at John Lewis

Samsung Galaxy Book6 (16-inch)

We like: Ports are particularly generous for a modern laptop

We don't like: Mediocre speakers for the price and size

The 16-inch Samsung Galaxy Book6 is the tech giant’s larger-screen entry-level laptop for 2026 and, as it's new, you can't expect too much of a discount. 

It’s powered by a powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (we tested the lower-spec Ultra 5) and Samsung says the battery lasts for ‘up to 24 hours of video playback’. 

That big Full HD screen makes it heavy - it's 1.76kg, so better suited to a desk than a bag. One bonus is that it has plenty of ports, namely two USB, two USB-C, HDMI, ethernet, micro-SD card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone socket.

A robot vacuum cleaner that can both mop and vacuum floors, this Eufy S1 Pro has seen a decent discount at John Lewis.

It'll whizz around your home without any effort on your part, and once it's finished, the station automatically empties the dust bin and dirty water tank, washes and dries the mop, refills the water tank and charges the robot.

In the box, it comes with a wet roller, two side brushes, a cleaning tool, a hard floor cleaner, a charging cable, a filter and a dust bag.

This is a black air fryer with a single pull-out cooking drawer with a viewing window. The drawer has a non-stick coating, and comes with a removable tray, a wire rack, and five metal skewers, all of which can be popped in the dishwasher for cleaning.

This fryer is operated using the digital display and touch controls. You can set the time and temperature yourself or use one of the seven auto programs to cook French fries, poultry, meat, fish, vegetables, bread, and small pastries.

There’s also a keep warm setting, a pause button, and a shake function to help your food cook evenly.

This plastic kettle comes in several colours, including blue, cream, black, grey, green and purple. You can also buy a matching toaster to go with it.

The kettle's swivel base allows it to rotate 360 degrees, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed people.

Combi microwaves such as this can cook like a standard convection oven, and also have a grill.

It has six power levels, as well as two auto-reheat and five auto-defrost programs. It also has a generous 28 auto-cook programs, including options for various types of veg, meat, pasta, potatoes and pizza. You control these using a dial and buttons. Plus, it has the unusual feature of letting you use it without the turntable rotating, so you can fit larger dishes that don’t need room to rotate.

 Best dishwasher deal at John Lewis

AEG FFB76727PM

This is one of AEG's GlassCare range of dishwashers, designed with soft grips and spikes to protect glassware from breaking or chipping. So if you’re hosting an afternoon tea or wine night, there’s a GlassCare mode specifically for fine china or delicate glassware. 

There are nine programs, such as prewash, eco, 160 minutes and 30 minutes. It has a SatelliteClean spray arm, which AEG claims provides three times more spray coverage. There’s no half-load function for smaller households, though, so it’s better suited to those who can make use of the generous 14 place settings.

The LG F4Y510WBLN1 is a freestanding white washing machine with a larger 10kg capacity and 1,400rpm maximum spin speed.

There are 12 programs to choose from, plus a steam function that can be used to reduce allergens. Additionally, it uses sensors to weigh the load and adjust washing times accordingly, potentially saving water and energy. You can also add items to the wash while the program is running.

You can delay the wash end time for up to 19 hours, and the digital display shows how much wash time is left. You can also lock the control panel to stop your settings being accidentally changed by knocks or inquisitive little fingers.

The Pixel 10a is pitched as a cut-down version of Google’s flagship phone and has a slower G4 processor and less Ram, with a choice of 128 or 256GB.

The rear camera system combines a 48Mp main camera with a 13Mp ultra-wide, but drops the 10.8Mp telephoto found on the standard Pixel 10. There’s also a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Wireless features include wi-fi up to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth and NFC for contactless payments. 

Wired charging and data connections are handled via USB-C, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack or micro SD card slot.

Does John Lewis offer any guarantees?

John Lewis offers a minimum guarantee of two years on all electricals and five years on televisions, at no extra cost.

You can call 0330 123 0106 for aftersales queries on any John Lewis electrical or technology product. The line is open from 8am-9pm weekdays, 8am-8pm Saturdays and 10am-6pm Sundays. Call charges vary according to your service provider.

For a fee, John Lewis also offers a technical support service to help you set up your new tech, which covers tablets, smartwatches, fitness trackers, mobile phones and laptops.

What about the 'Never Knowingly Undersold' price promise?

In 2024, John Lewis revived its 'Never Knowingly Undersold price promise, after scrapping the policy a few years prior.

Previously, the retailer offered to match prices with its high street rivals, but now the retailer says it will use AI to price match against 25 leading rival stores, including some online-only retailers such as Amazon.

You can price match against 25 of John Lewis' major competitors throughout the sale season. To make a successful claim, you'll need to find a better price for the same product within seven days of your purchase. You can submit a form on its website, including a screenshot or photo of the lower price and where you found it, and your original order details

How much is delivery from John Lewis?

At John Lewis you pay £4.50 for delivery on orders under £50. Purchases over £50 are delivered for free, although there are exceptions for large items going to non-UK mainland locations. Smaller items are usually delivered within five working days. 

Alternatively, you can click and collect orders over £40 for free, or arrange a delivery to a location near you for £2.95 for small items, or for free if your item cost more than £40.

Returning sales purchases to John Lewis

You can return small items bought online to a John Lewis or Waitrose store, send them back via post or courier, or arrange a Hermes collection. You can log in to your online account to request this. 

Items bought in store can be returned to John Lewis branches – simply bring your receipt and ensure the item is unused and in its original packaging, with tags attached.
