Best deals in the John Lewis sale

'Never knowingly undersold on quality, service and price' is the John Lewis promise and John Lewis promises to check and match the prices of 25 leading retailers even when they are running offers. John Lewis says this means you can be confident that you are paying a competitive price - but it does not lead the charge towards the lowest possible prices in the same way that online retailers do.

Even so there are some good deals to be found, which we've drawn together so you don't have to trawl the John Lewis shelves to find the best bargains.

Need to know

What makes Which? deals different?

Retailers sometimes use misleading ‘was’ and ‘before’ prices to claim their deals are good. Media sites and artificial intelligence (AI) promote deals from retailers – but do they always check them first? We don’t just take retailers’ word for it, we track actual market prices over six months. We share cheapest and average calculations and evaluate products against strict performance benchmarks. So you get good quality at honest prices.

*References to ‘average price' and 'cheapest price' are based on Which? market knowledge and information supplied by our partners. Prices are checked for the six calendar months prior to publication. Not all retailers are included in our checks. We have highlighted John Lewis as the 'Featured' retailer where possible, however, offers may be cheaper at other retailers in the pricing tool.

Best TV deals at John Lewis

LG 43QNED82A6B

Average price in the past six months: £502
Cheapest price in the past six months: £399*

LG 43QNED82A6B television
  • 43-inch 4K TV
  • QLED display
  • Supports HDR10 and HLG formats

We like: Simple to use

We don't like: Poor motion handling at SD

The 43-inch 43QNED82A6B is the smallest and cheapest of LG’s QNED range. QNED is unique to LG, but it basically means it has quantum dots to boost colour.

It’s more basic than other QNED TVs, which keeps costs low, but still has a few features you don't always find on TVs in this price range: support for Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, recording and pausing live TV with the built-in PVR, a microphone in the remote that enables you to control some parts of the TV with your voice.

Should you opt for this discounted 43-inch model? Discover all you need to know in our LG 43QNED82A6B review.

LG 43NANO80A6B

Average price in the past six months: £363
Cheapest price in the past six months: £269*

LG 43NANO80A6B television
  • 43-inch 4K TV
  • LCD display
  • Supports HDR10 and HLG formats

We like: LG’s operating system and remote work well together

We don't like: Sound lacks dynamism

This entry-level TV from LG incorporates the brand's Nanocell tech, which is designed to boost colour – that's unusual for a television that you can buy for less than £400.

For this price, you shouldn't expect a whole host of bells and whistles (gaming features are a little limited, for example), but there's still the option to use voice controls through LG's excellent Magic Remote, and recording is available, too.

Read our LG 43NANO80A6B review to discover whether this is a bargain TV worth bagging.

Samsung QE43QN90F

Average price in the past six months: £953
Cheapest price in the past six months: £699*

Samsung QE43QN90F television

  • 43-inch 4K TV
  • Neo QLED display
  • Supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10+ formats

We like: Intuitive operating system

We don't like: Fiddly remote

The QE43QN90F is a Neo QLED TV with a backlight stuffed with miniscule bulbs to improve contrast and push brightness.

Samsung has given it the high-end treatment, too, so there are nice extras for gamers such as the 165Hz screen, FreeSync and variable refresh rate tech, all for a cheaper price than an OLED from LG or Samsung.

Samsung’s Tizen operating system is as slick as ever, but the remote could do with more buttons.

Check out the full Samsung QE43QN90F review to see how this one scored in our tests.

LG OLED65C54LA

Average price in the past six months: £1,961
Cheapest price in the past six months: £1,279*

LG OLED65C54LA television
  • 65-inch 4K TV
  • OLED display
  • Supports HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision formats

We like: Excellent HDR use

We don't like: Smart menu could be more customisable

If your budget stretches into the thousands then there’s no shortage of high-end TVs for you to choose from and it was manufacturer LG that first popularised OLED technology utilised by the OLED65C54LA.

It’s packed with gaming features, most notably the 120Hz screen to really make the most of what modern consoles can do. This, as well as FreeSync and VRR (variable refresh rate) will help games play and look smoother. And Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast are both built-in, so you’ll easily be able to stream content from your phone to your TV.

Read our LG OLED65C54LA review to see if this big-screen OLED is right for you.

Best tablet deals at John Lewis

11-inch Apple iPad (2025)

Average price in the past six months: £320
Cheapest price in the past six months: £299*

Apple 11-inch iPad (2025)
  • 10.9-inch screen
  • 6GB Ram
  • 128GB of storage

We like: Cheapest iPad since 2022

We didn't like: No Apple Intelligence

The 2025 iPad is sure to tempt Apple fans, launching at almost half the price of an iPad Air and £170 less than the iPad mini.

It has a 10.9-inch screen with 2,360 x 1,640-pixel resolution. It runs on the A16 Bionic chip, which is the same processor found in the iPhone 15.

It has a sleek finish and comes in four colours: blue, pink, silver or yellow. It doesn’t come with Apple Intelligence, though, which is Apple’s latest software features powered by AI.

Best laptop deals at John Lewis

Lenovo Chromebook Plus (14”) (83MY0005UK)

Average price in the past six months: £566
Cheapest price in the past six months: £399*

Lenovo Chromebook Plus (14”) (83MY0005UK)
  • MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor
  • 12GB Ram
  • 128GB SSD storage

We like: Lightweight

We don't like: Flimsy build quality

The Lenovo Chromebook Plus (14”) (83MY0005UK) is more affordably priced than most Windows laptops with similar specs, which makes it an enticing 14-inch option for anybody whose online life exists mainly in the cloud and revolves around the Google Suite ecosystem.

It features an octa-core MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor, 12GB of Ram and a 128GB storage drive, 99.2GB of which is free for personal storage. It also has a powerful dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) that powers the Google Gemini AI tool. That means it can perform certain types of AI-enhanced tasks – such as generating images or helping you write text – without needing another online AI service.

Apple 13-inch MacBook Air M5

Average price in the past six months: £1,067
Cheapest price in the past six months: £989*

Apple MacBook Air M5 (13-inch) laptop
  • Apple M5 processor
  • 16GB Ram
  • 512GB storage

We like: Gorgeous display

We don’t like: Still lacking in ports

Even though the MacBook Neo is now on the scene, for those who want a true high-end Apple laptop with a flagship-level chipset, the new MacBook Air M5 is easily the go-to option right now.

It also has double the base storage and Ram of the Neo. Throw in a vibrant display that's also great for entertainment, and there's a lot to like about Apple's new MacBook Air.

Best vacuum cleaner deal at John Lewis

Shark IP3251UKT

Average price in the past six months: £395
Cheapest price in the past six months: £282*

Shark IP3251UKT cordless vacuum
  • Bagless and cordless stick vacuum cleaner
  • 0.6 litre dust capacity
  • Weighs 3.8kg

We like: Good to use on stairs and high places

We don't like: Filter is fiddly to remove and clean

This cordless vac from Shark has an anti-hair wrap roller that the manufacturer claims won't get tangled up with long strands of hair, plus the motorised floor head is designed to detect the type of flooring it’s on and adjust the suction power accordingly.

It has a hinged stick to help reach under low furniture, and can be transformed into a handheld cleaner for tackling tricky areas such as stairs, upholstery and car interiors. Supplied accessories including a gap tool and upholstery nozzle.

It weighs 3.8kg, so it’s not too heavy, and has a 0.6-litre dust capacity, which isn't as generous as some.

Is this vacuum as good at dealing with hair as Shark claims? Find out in our full Shark IP3251UKT review.

Best air fryer deal at John Lewis

Philips 5000 Series NA555/09

Philips 5000 Series NA555 09 air fryer
  • Basket type
  • Dual cooking zones
  • 35 x 45 x 38cm (H x W x D)

We like: It feels well-built

We don't like: There's no viewing window

The Philips 5000 Series NA555/09 is a versatile air fryer that aims to boost your cooking with steam-boosted features. There are multiple presents and its design includes two separate drawers – with claimed 3-litre and 6-litre capacities. We measured this gives you a 1.4kg capacity to work with.

This air fryer can steam food, too, but this isn’t something we test.

The kettle's swivel base allows it to rotate 360 degrees, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed people.
