What’s Arnold Clark Car and Van Rental like?
Europe’s biggest car retailer goes back more than 70 years, when a young Arnold Clark used £70 of his demob money from the Royal Air Force to buy and do up a Morris Ten Four. The rental business followed in 1963 and there are now 35 branches across the UK.
It’s the only UK rental option with 5 star pricing clarity. One customer told us ‘the pricing was so simple, with no extra charges and no changing prices’.
Customers also told us they were impressed by the quality of Arnold Clark’s fleet, with vehicles described as ‘spotless’ and ‘nearly new’ with low mileage.
On top of this, customers loved its pick-up and drop off service. One customer told us ‘there was no time shilly shallying and no problem hiring in my age group (82). I was in and out in no time and dropped off back at my home.’
Despite the average price per day coming in at a comparatively expensive £67, customers gave Arnold Clark a four-star rating for value for money. Customer service was also well rated, with several customers commenting on the ‘pleasant and efficient service’ and noting that ‘nothing seemed too much trouble’.
