 John Lewis tablet deals

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra

*Average price in the past six months: £1,089 | Cheapest price in the past six months: £799.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
  • 14.6-inch screen
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8550 processor with 12GB of Ram
  • 256GB of storage

We like: Quick processor

We don’t like: Might be too big for some people

This 14.6-inch tablet was Samsung’s top-of-line model from last year, increasing the screen size to 14.6-inches from the 12.6-inch of the S9+ above. Otherwise, the spec is very similar, with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8550 processor, 12GB Ram and 1,848 x 2,960 resolution display.

Apple iPad Pro 11-inch 7th generation (2024)

*Average price in the past six months: £986 | Cheapest price in the past six months: £899.

Apple iPad Pro 11-inch 2024
  • 11.1-inch screen
  • M4 processor and 8GB of Ram
  • 2,420 x 1,668-pixels display

We like: Bassy and powerful sound

We don’t like: Can’t have more than one user profile

With a list of features as long as your arm and some surprisingly original tech – like the display which is actually two OLED screens on top of each other – as well as the colossally powerful M4 processor, the seventh generation iPad Pro is Apple's most powerful iPad yet.

Our in-depth Apple iPad Pro 11-inch 7th generation (2024) review will help you decide whether this iPad is a wise investment.

 John Lewis mobile phone deals

Google Pixel 8

Average price in the past six months: £536 | Cheapest price in the past six months: £444.

Google Pixel 8
  • Google Tensor G3 processor
  • Two rear camera lenses
  • Seven years of support from launch

We like: High-resolution display

We don't like: Could be more robust

A step down from the Pixel 8 Pro and you find the Pixel 8. The screen is smaller (6.2 inches) and you don't get as many camera lenses. But the specs are still accomplished. 4K video recording, the latest Android software and a sleek design are just some of the perks you benefit from.

 John Lewis beard trimmer deals

BaByliss Super Stubble XTP beard trimmer

*Average price in the past six months: £65.83 | Cheapest price in the past six months: £56.99.

BaByliss-Super-Stubble-XTP-Beard-Trimmer
  • Not suitable for head or body hair
  • Includes charging station, cleaning brush, oil for trimmer

We like: Can fine-tune trimming length

We don't like: Limited range of trimming

While you can dial in the trim length in 0.2mm steps, this model only trims up to 5mm – which is quite short.

If you're looking to fine-tune stubble, it's a good choice. If you're looking to tame a longer beard, we'd recommend taking a look at the other models we tested in our review of the best beard trimmers.

John Lewis headphone deals

Bower & Wilkins Pi7 S2

* Average price in the past six months: £290.83 | Cheapest price in the past six months: £127.49.

Bower & Wilkins Pi7 S2 headphones
  • In-ear design
  • Weighs 14g
  • True wireless headphones

We like: Case supports wireless charging

We don't like: Bulky buds

These premium earbuds feature a higher-quality build than other models, but that doesn't mean they're fragile. They're rated IP54, which means they won't be damaged in light rain or after a sweaty workout.

You can use code 'MYJLAUDIO15' to get an additional 15% off these headphones – bringing them down to £127.49. You'll need to sign up for or into a free My John Lewis membership first though.

 John Lewis hair dryer deals

Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer

* Average price in the past six months: £341.66 | Cheapest price in the past six months: £329.99.

Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer
  • 3 speed settings
  • Includes styling attachments
  • 3 temperature settings

We like: Lightweight (490g)

We don't like: Still quite expensive

This coveted hairdryer from Dyson has had a slight discount from a few different retailers, which John Lewis has matched.

While it's quite similar to the original Supersonic, there's extra tech included like its scalp protect mode, which automatically adjusts the temperature setting depending on how close you're holding it to your head.

It also comes with several attachments: a concentrator nozzle, diffuser, flyaway attachment, gentle air attachment, and a wide-tooth comb to suit a variety of hairstyles.

When did the John Lewis 2024 sale start?

Shoppers on escalators in John Lewis

This year, John Lewis kicked off its sale from 1 November. But because Black Friday fell much later than it did in 2023 (Black Friday was on 29 November and Cyber Monday on 2 December) it means the John Lewis sale will last a whole month.

That also means there is plenty of time to shop, so there's  really no need to panic buy this year (or any year).

Does John Lewis offer any guarantees?

John Lewis offers a minimum guarantee of two years on all electricals and five years on televisions, at no extra cost.

What about the 'Never Knowingly Undersold' price promise?

John Lewis has recently revived its 'Never Knowingly Undersold price promise, after scrapping the policy two years ago.

You can price match against 25 of John Lewis' major competitors throughout the holiday season. To make a successful claim, you'll need to find a better price for the same product within seven days of your purchase.
