Does NatWest offer different levels of home insurance cover?

The scores shown in this review relate to NatWest's standard home insurance policy. If you would like to take out home insurance with NatWest but need more cover, you could opt for the NatWest Elite Home Insurance policy.

This policy offers:

  • Unlimited alternative accommodation cover
  • Accidental damage included as standard
  • Up to £2,500 of money cover

Due to the increased level of cover, the NatWest Elite Home Insurance policy is likely to be more expensive than its standard home insurance policy.

How much does NatWest's home insurance cost?

Your contents insurance and buildings insurance will be priced based on your own personal circumstances, where you live and the type of property and contents you own.

NatWest allows you to gather quotes on its own website at https://personal.natwest.com/personal/insurance/home-insurance.html.

Check out our guide for more information on how add-ons, fees, and charges affect the price of your home insurance.

What is NatWest's claims number?

If you need to make a claim with NatWest home insurance call 0345 246 0449.

NatWest advises you have your home insurance policy reference number ready before calling to help kickstart your claims process.

Your claims handler will ask for details about what happened and how much you're claiming for.

The acid test of any home insurance provider is how it handles your claim. In January 2019, Which? surveyed 1,456 members of the general public about their experiences using a major home insurance provider.

Due to sample size, we weren't able to score NatWest on their claims procedure but you can find out how other insurers were rated in our guide making a home insurance claim.

Who underwrites NatWest's home insurance policy?

NatWest's home insurance policy is underwritten by U K Insurance Ltd.
