What does More Than offer?
More Than offers insurance for cats and dogs.
We've reviewed the following types of policies:
Lifetime cover pet insurance
Lifetime cover is the most comprehensive pet insurance on the market and pays out for ongoing issues your pet may have throughout its lifetime.
Non-lifetime cover pet insurance
Non-lifetime cover is less comprehensive, covers a limited time period and excludes certain conditions after you hit your claims limit.
Accident-only pet insurance
Accident-only pet insurance provides a fixed sum of money for each accidental injury to help pay for your pet’s treatment. It is the cheapest type of pet insurance policy but excludes cover for illness entirely.

Here's how More Than scores in our latest survey:
To help you find the best pet insurance policy, Which? goes the extra mile to sort the best from the worst.
How we analyse pet insurance
We analyse and rate 30 key elements of standard pet insurance policies to come up with the overall policy score. We assess how important each individual element is to pet owners, and weight it accordingly when calculating our total policy score.
Initially, we score all of the product elements out of five, reflecting how competitive each provider is in this area compared with other insurers. Weightings are then applied to the higher and lower element scores to enhance/reduce their impact on the overall product score.
To determine customer scores, we surveyed 1,194 Which? members with pet insurance in October 2020. The Customer Score is calculated using a combination of overall satisfaction and the likelihood of recommending the provider. Providers needed at least 30 respondents to be included.
