Why should I shop the Black Friday sales with Which?
In previous years, we've seen discounted products that score poorly or are even Which? Don't Buys: simply not worth your money. Our John Lewis Black Friday sale round-up will only include products that performed well in our test lab and are offered at a genuinely good discount. But you’ll need to read our reviews for the full picture.

Best technology deals at John Lewis
'Never knowingly undersold on quality, service and price' is the John Lewis promise and John Lewis promises to check and match the prices of 25 leading retailers even when they are running offers. John Lewis says this means you can be confident that you are paying a competitive price - but it does not lead the charge towards the lowest possible prices in the same way that online retailers do.
Even so there are some good deals to be found, which we've drawn together so you don't have to trawl the John Lewis shelves to find the best bargains.

Google Pixel 10
Average price in the past six months: £765.99
Cheapest price in the past six months: £599*

John Lewis has now price-matched the competition, meaning that you can get the Pixel 10 with a two-year warranty for just £599.
- Tensor G5 chipset
- 6.3-inch OLED display
- Google Gemini AI
We like: Excellent cameras
We don’t like: Battery life needs improving
Now in its tenth iteration, the latest Google Pixel phone has gone all in on AI smarts via Google Gemini to create an ecosystem that can adapt to your schedule and offer help where it thinks it might be needed. The big upgrade over the Pixel 9 is the addition of Pixelsnap, which is Google's take on MagSafe and can establish a secure, wireless connection with accessories such as power banks.
There's a faster Tensor G5 chipset inside, which is also found in the more expensive Pixel 10 phones. While the 6.3-inch display has returned, it's now brighter as it can reach a peak of 3,000 nits.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge (15.6", X1-26-100, 16GB)
Average price in the past six months: £691
Cheapest price in the past six months: £449*

- Snapdragon X processor
- 16GB Ram
- 256GB of eUFS memory
We like: Powerful processor with AI capabilities
We don't like: Gets very warm below the keyboard
This 15-inch touchscreen Windows laptop is part of a wave of new Copilot+ computers - meaning it includes a neural processing unit (NPU) that can run AI workloads locally, rather than in the cloud. Do note that this also means its Snapdragon X processor is ARM-based (just like Macs), and these can occasionally have compatibility issues with older peripherals, like a printer. So check before you buy if you think this will be a problem for you.
Coupled with 16GB of Ram, the chipset should provide plenty of power for tackling even the most arduous tasks. Storage on our test model was 256GB of eUFS memory (an alternative to a solid-state drive, more commonly used in smartphones), which is a little on the stingy side. It supports the latest and fastest Wi-Fi 7 standard.
To find out all the pros and cons of this model, see our comprehensive Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge (15.6") review.
Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (2022, M2)
Average price in the past six months: £852
Cheapest price in the past six months: £769*

We tested a version with an ungenerous 256GB – the MacBook on sale for £799 at John Lewis gives you a good 512GB SSD (which Apple charges £200 extra for on the latest M4 MacBooks).
- Apple M2 processor
- 8GB Ram
- 256GB SSD
We like: Quiet when working hard
We don't like: If you don't view the screen straight-on, some dimming is slightly noticeable when you move to the sides.
This 2022-generation MacBook has a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display and a processor with eight cores, four of which are high-speed and four of which handle lightweight tasks in the background. At 12.4kg and 1.13cm thick, it makes a great portable companion to join you on your travels.
There's the choice of four finishes: midnight, space grey, silver and starlight.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
Average price in the past six months: £1,097
Cheapest price in the past six months: £899*

The best offer we've found for Samsung's high-end tablet comes from John Lewis, which is now selling the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra for just £799. This is a massive £400 off its original launch price.
- 14.6-inch screen
- 12GB Ram
- 256GB of storage
We like: Huge and bright display
We don't like: Expensive, even on a deal - so consider whether you really need all this power
This is the highest-powered, largest, and most expensive Android tablet from Samsung's range. The screen has a luxurious number of pixels (2960 x 1848 resolution), a top-of-the-range MediaTek chip, alongside a generous 12GB Ram. It's a tablet made for more than just web browsing and video watching activities - it's for creative work, like video editing and complex image design.
If you're not sure whether the already substantial 256GB of storage is enough, you can expand it later with a micro-SD card. It comes with a USB-C charging cable – you don't get a plug.

Samsung QE43QN90F
Average price in the past six months: £952
Cheapest price in the past six months: £749*

- 43-inch 4K TV
- Neo QLED display
- Supports HDR10, HLG and HDR10+ formats
We like: Smoothly handled motion
We don't like: Harsh treble
We’re always happy to see small high-end TVs because there was a time you couldn’t get them. Brands just didn’t bother, but that’s changed and the 43-inch QE43QN90F is one such example from one of the biggest manufacturers in the business.
Samsung’s Tizen operating system is running the show and you use its pared-back One Remote to control things. There's a microphone included in it, too, letting you talk to Bixby (Samsung’s voice assistant) and control many aspects of the TV with your voice, from changing channels and inputs to searching for content.
So how good is this premium 43-inch television? Read our Samsung QE43QN90F review to find out.
Hisense 65U7QTUK PRO
Average price in the past six months: £1322
Cheapest price in the past six months: £799*

- 65-inch 4K TV
- QLED display
- Supports HDR10 and 10+, HLG and Dolby Vision IQ formats
We like: Straightforward to set up and use
We don't like: Audio is treble-heavy
What makes a TV ‘PRO’? Well, compared to the standard 65U7QTUK, the pro model has miniLED PRO backlight and a PRO version of its processor. It also features the VIDAA U smart operating system, a microphone in the remote and you can use it to control some aspects of the TV with your voice, and an onboard recorder that lets you record channels and pause TV once you’ve connected a USB hard drive.
There's plenty here for gamers, too. The 165Hz can display 165 frames per second, which makes better use of newer games consoles to make games look smoother. Many high-end models top out at 120Hz (which is the most PS5s and Xbox Series Xs can manage), so those extra frames are for PC gamers. It also supports variable refresh rates, which helps the TV compensate if the games console is struggling to render every frame. The icing on the cake is FreeSync, which has a suite of features designed to make the TV more responsive.
Hisense has not always lead the pack in making its televisions the easiest to adapt to makes its features more accessible, does this latest model buck that trend?
Our full Hisense 65U7QTUK PRO review will help you buy or avoid this television with confidence.
Best deals for the home and kitchen at John Lewis
Ninja Crispi FN101UKGY
Average price in the past six months: £153
Cheapest price in the past six months: £105*

- Oven type
- Single cooking zone
- 30 x 29 x 35cm (HxWxD)
We like: It's quick
We don't like: It's not the easiest to clean
Unusually you can get this air fryer in several different colourways, and retailers are offering different deals on the colours. If 'stone' or 'sage' are the colours you're looking for John Lewis is at the cutting edge of pricing right now.
It’s an innovative plastic air frying lid (that Ninja calls the PowerPod) that clips onto the supplied glass cooking containers. Two sizes are provided in the box, each with its own Tupperware-type lid so you can get your pre-prepped food straight out of the fridge and onto the table without making more washing up, or even take it on the go. There’s also a size adapter to make the air fryer lid fit the larger dish, and two crisper plates.
Its maximum cooking capacity (using the larger container) is 1kg - on the smaller side for air fryers we’ve tested, but big enough for generous portions for a couple.
Find out if the portable concept is a boon or a bust with our Ninja Crispi FN101UKGY review.
John Lewis JLWM7043
Average price in the past six months: £699
Cheapest price in the past six months: £599*

- Freestanding
- 10kg cottons capacity
- White
We like: Very powerful spin
We don't like: Cluttered control panel
The JLWM7043 is one of the larger capacity John Lewis washing machines we’ve tested, so it might catch your eye if your laundry basket seems to be eternally overflowing.
If you need to quickly wash an outfit this machine can do that in 20 minutes, or there’s a 59-minute option that can fit in 5kg of clothing. The anti-allergy setting uses steam in a bid to rid your garments of nasties or there’s a steam ‘refresh’ for lightly soiled items.
This machine also has a digital display, standard delay-start and child lock features. Plus John Lewis also offers a generous three-year guarantee as standard.
To find out if it's the right machine for you, read our full John Lewis JLWM7043 review.
John Lewis JLFFD2064X
Average price in the past six months: £779
Cheapest price in the past six months: £679*

It's £679 at John Lewis (a saving of £100, according to the retailer).
- Freestanding
- Frost-free freezer
- Silver finish
We like: Reversible door
We don’t like: Veg dries out a bit in the drawer
John Lewis claims that the JLFFD2064X is ‘ideal for those who want to cut down on time spent food shopping’ because it uses space ‘efficiently’ to ensure food stays ‘fresher for longer’.
This stainless steel freestanding fridge freezer has five shelves to store chilled favourites and four racks in the door. The freezer also has two drawers for your frozen goods, and clear front panels make checking on your food easy.
A reversible door gives you extra flexibility when planning the layout of your kitchen, as you're not restricted on where you place the fridge freezer in your home.
The full John Lewis JLFFD2064X review reveals if this fridge freezer solves your food waste problems.
Haier HCR3818EWMM
Average price in the last six months: £775
Cheapest price in the past six months: £650*

You can find it for £650 at Costco (membership terms apply) or check prices at other retailers below.
- American
- Frost-free freezer
- Silver finish
We like: It has a large capacity
We don't like: The fridge is hard to clean
If you have the space and budget for an American-style fridge freezer, this model is currently cheaper than average at Costco. It's a spacious multi-door model with a modern design where the fridge and freezer sections are positioned one on top of the other, instead of side-by-side. It's designed to handle large shops, accommodating up to the equivalent of 16 bags of groceries.
It includes super-cool and fast-freeze functions, perfect for quickly lowering the internal temperature after you've added a significant amount of new food.
The fridge section contains three shelves (one is adjustable) and two dedicated crisper compartments for fresh produce. The bottom freezer section has six drawers.
Is this big fridge freezer worth the big investment? Read our Haier HCR3818EWMM review to find out.
Numatic Henry Quick HEN.100
Average price in the past six months: £272
Cheapest price in the past six months: £198*
- Bagged cordless handstick vacuum cleaner
- 1 litre dust capacity
- Weighs 3.3kg
We like: Cleans well with a full dust container
We don't like: Poor performance on minimum power
This was the first cordless handstick offering from Numatic. The floor nozzle is an electro brush, but this model also comes with a combi tool that doubles up as an upholstery nozzle and a furniture brush.
This is a bagged vacuum, which means the dust pods will have to be regularly replaced. They can hold up to a litre of dust and debris and are made from recycled materials, according to Numatic. Pods are often less messy than a dust container when it comes to emptying, so this might be a good option if you suffer from dust related allergies.

Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute
Average price in the past six months: £330
Cheapest price in the past six months: £278*

- Bagless and cordless stick vacuum cleaner
- 0.9 litre dust capacity
- Weighs 2.7kg
We like: Power doesn’t drop off as it fills
We don't like: Battery life could be better
The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute bagless vacuum has a 0.9 litre dust capacity, which is more generous than previous models like the V7 and V8, and means it won’t need to be emptied as often. It comes with two floor heads: a universal brush head and a soft roller brush that’s designed to leave hard floors super-clean.
You get an angled hinge attachment that allows the vac to reach under low furniture, and it can be used as a handheld cleaner with the combi dusting and upholstery nozzle, crevice tool or mini turbo brush. It also comes with a wall-mountable docking station and a charger.

Bosch Unlimited 9 Dual Battery BCS932BGB
Average price in the past six months: £450
Cheapest price in the past six months: £350*

It's currently on offer for £349.99 from John Lewis, and direct from Bosch:
- Bagless and cordless stick vacuum cleaner
- 0.5 litre dust capacity
- Weighs 3.3kg
We like: Cleans laminate well
We don't like: Poor cleaning on low power mode
The Bosch Unlimited 9 comes with an electro brush floor head with LED lights, a gap tool with an extension and a furniture brush. There’s also a built-in MicroSensor with an indicator light that, according to the manufacturer, changes colour when all the dust has been picked up. It also has a HEPA filtration system.
The dust container isn’t as generous as some, with a capacity of just 0.5 litres, but at least you won’t have to worry about buying disposable bags.

Bosch Unlimited 10
Average price in the past six months: £478
Cheapest price in the past six months: £299*

It's currently on offer for £377.98 from John Lewis, or compare prices from the following retailers:
- Bagless and cordless stick vacuum cleaner
- 0.5 litre dust capacity
- Weighs 3.8kg
We like: Fast charging
We don't like: Quite heavy and bulky
The Unlimited 10 may just tick all your boxes. It's a handstick cordless vacuum cleaner from Bosch that comes with a range of accessories, including a universal floorhead, crevice nozzle and furniture brush. The vacuum tube flexes at a hinge so you can more easily get under sofas, and the floorhead has LED lights to illuminate the dirt.
It also has a quick charger to rapidly replenish the battery, but also a fairly meagre 0.5 dust capacity.
To be a Best Buy, it will need to clean effectively and be easy to use. See if it succeeds in our Bosch Unlimited 10 review.
