Insure Pink’s policy scored 60% – a little below the 62% average. Its cover was consistently reasonable in our analysis, but it didn’t really stand out.
Among its plus points was £300 for replacing damaged child car seats and driving other cars cover. The latter provides you with third-party protection (ie cover if you’re liable for causing harm or property damage, but not for repairs to the car you’re driving) if you borrow someone else’s car.
However, it also charges an adjustment fee of £20 if you make alterations to your policy in the year, and its personal belongings cover (£300) doesn’t cover mobile phones, gadgets or laptops.
While your car is under repair, the policy provides for a courtesy car as standard. But you can optionally choose to buy hire car cover – which will additionally provide a temporary replacement car if yours has been stolen or is written off.
The hire car will be available to you for up to 28 days, which is fairly generous. With most policies, the period is two to three weeks.
Insure Pink’s underwriter Advantage Insurance Company Limited accepted 95-100% of car insurance claims in 2024. This was around the average (98.8%) for the market.
Of customers who claimed, 5-10% made a complaint, which is also about average (6.9%).
You can buy an Insure Pink car insurance policy direct from its website, or from the following comparison websites:
Car insurance policies are generally cheaper to buy through comparison websites than directly online, but it's always worth comparing.
Insure Pink may be willing to offer additional discounts if you contact it at renewal to discuss its renewal offer. It does not, however, offer any discounts if you buy cover for more than one car.
You can choose to pay your premium in one go or in monthly instalments. Paying monthly usually costs more overall. This is because paying by instalments is usually provided as a form of credit – with interest or other charges applied.
When we reviewed the Insure Pink, its rate for paying in monthly instalments was 22.8% APR. This was more than the average rate (20.49% APR) charged among providers that told us their rates.
To save money, you could pay annually and spread the cost with an interest-free purchase credit card.
Above information correct as of December 2025.
With a policy score of 60%, the standard Insure Pink car insurance cover sits just behind the Privilege Comprehensive policy, Sheilas' Wheels Essentials, 1st Central's Extra + Breakdown cover and also the AA's Silver policy – all with 61%.

Perhaps. We weren’t bowled over by Insure Pink’s policy, but if the price is right it could be worth a look.
