Dean Sobers, Which? car insurance expert, says:

Quote Me Happy’s Premier and Plus with Legal policies were both Best Buys, with scores of 66%.
The difference between the two is that Premier includes Roadside Assistance breakdown cover (provided by RAC), which Plus with Legal doesn’t.
For most drivers (but not those under 25), there’s no compulsory excess for fire, theft and accidental damage claims.
Both policies also include a lifetime guarantee on repairs that Quote Me Happy arranges.
These policies didn’t do brilliantly across the board, however. They include £150 of cover for personal belongings - less than is provided by other policies we examined. They also don't include cover for medical expenses.
Premier and Plus with Legal include cover for accidentally filling your tank with the wrong type of fuel. They’ll pay both for the costs of draining the wrong fuel from the car and any damage to the engine.
We rated three other Quote Me Happy policies. The Plus with Roadside policy and the Plus policy both scored 62%. They weren’t Best Buys, but sat in the middle of our tables. As the name suggests, the main difference is that Roadside bundles in breakdown cover, which wasn’t factored into our score of the car insurance.
Essentials, which removes various features such as windscreen damage, and adds a £200 compulsory excess for fire, theft and accidental damage claims, managed a score of 52%. This placed it in the bottom fifth of our table.
Quote Me Happy’s underwriter Aviva Insurance Limited accepted 95-100% of car insurance claims in 2024. This was around the average (98.8%) for the market.
Of customers who claimed, 0-5% made a complaint, which is below the average (6.9%).

In general, car insurance policies are cheaper to buy through comparison websites than directly online, and are priciest when bought over the phone. It's always worth comparing any quotes.
Quote Me Happy offers a discount of £20 if you insure more than one car at the same address.
The above information is correct as of December 2025.
Quote Me Happy's two top-scoring policies – Premier and Plus with Legal – scored 66%, not far behind the Allianz Silver policy, Direct Line's Comprehensive and Premium Online cover, and the standard policy from Moja. They all earned 67%.
Its Plus and Plus with Roadside cover both earned a policy score of 62%, and sit in our table behind standard cover from the AA, Admiral and Churchill, as well as Admiral's Littlebox policy (all 63%).
Quote Me Happy's Essentials policy scored 52%, behind Essentials cover from Direct Line, Moja and Esure.
