Samsung QE65Q60T 65” TV  – was £1,199, now £899 (25% off according to the retailer)

Same price at Amazon, Very

Samsung QE65Q60T 65” TV

We like: simple to use, great sound for drama

We don’t like: doesn’t make the most of HDR

This TV has been at £999 since October – so the ‘was £1,199’ tag isn’t very accurate – but £899 is the cheapest we’ve seen this TV, so you’re still saving £100. Able to support 4K resolution, if you are in the market for a big TV give this one a consideration. It provides consistently good sound, and has one of the best electronic programme guides we’ve seen. Is the picture quality up to scratch?

Apple Macbook Air 13” (2020) i3 256GB – was £999, now £879 (12% off according to the retailer)

Same price at John Lewis & Partners, Amazon

Apple Macbook Air 13” (2020) Currys PC World Black Friday Laptop deal

We like: build quality, speakers, screen

We don’t like: battery life

We tested the i5 model (which is also on sale see below) and found it fast and silky smooth to use. The i3 model may be a bit slower at rendering videos or coping with tasks like video editing, but you’ll still get that fast speed with day-to-day tasks like streaming, checking emails and word processing. We’ve seen this model hovering at £920 over the last week – so the saving is £41, but if you’re in the market for a high-end laptop built to last then consider grabbing this deal.

Samsung UE32T4300 – was £199, now £169 (15% off according to the retailer)

Samsung UE32T4300 Black Friday deal to avoid

This is the cheapest we’ve seen this model, but it performed awfully in our tests. With terrible sound and only so-so picture quality, we recommend leaving this HD TV and put the £169 towards a better model. Take a look at the Best Black Friday TV deals retailers have to offer.

Currys PC World Black Friday TV deals

Currys PC World is currently offering a five-year guarantee on selected TVs, promising to protect against mechanical or electrical breakdowns. Look out for this on a product’s page before purchasing if this is important to you.

LG OLED55CX6LA – was £1,599, now £1,299 (19% off according to the retailer)

Exclusive to Currys PC World

LG_OLED55CX6LA_Currys_exclusive

We like: crisp 4K, easy to use

We don’t like: voice search doesn’t always come back with ideal results

This 55-inch OLED CX is exclusive to Currys PC World – with the market-wide model (OLED55CX5LB) having a different coloured stand. It comes with the Currys five-year guarantee which means it will replace or fix your TV if it has a mechanical or electrical breakdown. This model has been at £1,399 for quite a while – so while it’s still a great deal, it’s only a £100 discount from the price it’s actually been over the past month. It’s easy to use, but does its picture and sound quality score the maximum five stars in our tough tests?

Read our full LG OLED55CX6LA review, or buy it now at Currys PC World.

LG 49NANO816NA – was £599, now £479 (20% off according to the retailer)

Exclusive to Currys PC World

LG_49NANO816NA_Currys_exclusive-black-friday

We like: sharp picture, great remote

We don’t like: viewing angle

Exclusive to Currys PC world, this 49-inch LCD TV uses LG’s nanocell range, which filters out colours to help make the picture look natural. If you’re after a top-tier 4K screen that doesn’t cost an arm and leg, then this offering from LG may be worth considering. It also comes with the Currys five-year guarantee which means it will ll replace or fix your TV if it has a mechanical or electrical breakdown. This is the lowest price we’ve seen this model at, so you’re getting a great deal. But can this bargain give you everything you want from a new TV?

Samsung UE50TU8507 – was £599, now £449 (25% off according to the retailer)

Same price at John Lewis & Partners

SAMSUNG UE50TU8507 55" TV

We like: great HD, easy to set up

We don’t like: sound lacks treble

The Samsung UE50TU8507 is an exclusive-to-Currys version of the UE50TU8500 model sold at other retailers. The HD quality is good, and it produces a nice balanced sound. This TV has on sale for £499 at Currys since October – but you’re still saving £50. We found the HD quality great, but how good is the 4K picture?

Our TV expert says

‘With LG and Samsung dominating the TV industry as the most popular brands, it’s no surprise to see so many deals on their TVs. Generally, we find it’s better to stick with the brands you recognise and avoid store brands, such as JVC and Bush. Then there are smaller brands – at least in TV terms – Hisense and Philips, they are often cheaper than rival sets, but rarely do as well as models from big name brands.’

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 i5, 128GB – was £899, now £659 (27% off according to the retailer)

Similar price at John Lewis & Partners, Microsoft

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 i5 Black Friday Deal

We like: good speakers, great screen

We don’t like: pricey accessories

The Surface Pro 7 is a great tablet that proved to be more than capable of most tasks in our testing. A few retailers have this deal on, so go for the one that has the returns policy you like. It’s worth noting that the deal only includes the tablet. If you want the Surface Type cover or Surface Pen you’ll need to buy them separately.

Apple MacBook Air 13” (2020) i5 256GB – was £1,299, now £1,180 (9% off according to the retailer)

Same price at John Lewis & Partners

Apple Macbook Air 13” (2020) Currys PC World Black Friday Laptop deal

We like: build quality, speakers, screen

We don’t like: battery life

With the new M1 MacBook Airs out, it’s not surprising to see deals appearing on Intel-based Apple products. We found the i5 MacBook air fast and silky smooth to use. If you’re in the market for a high-end laptop built to last, consider grabbing this deal.

Asus Zenbook UX325JA – was £1,299, now £1,099 (15% off according to the retailer)

Same price at Amazon

Asus ZenBook 13 UX325JA black friday deal

We like: battery life, size and weight

We don’t like: mediocre speakers

We tested a lower-spec model – i5 processor with 512GB SSD storage – and found it to be speedy at opening programmes and webpages. This should only improve with the faster i7 processor and the 1TB SSD storage. This is a decent discount on a laptop with lots of good features,  but is this laptop’s keyboard easy to use and ergonomic?

Asus Flip C433 2 in 1 Chromebook – was £499, now £399 (20% off according to the retailer)

Asus Chromebook Flip C433TA Currys Black Friday Deal

We like: battery life

We don’t like: speakers

This Chromebook may not be kitted out with top-end specs, but is very decent for anyone looking for a laptop on a budget. With this discount being genuine, a further saving of £100 isn’t to be sniffed at. Could this be the budget laptop for you?

HP 14s-dq1505sa – was £699, now £599 (14% off according to the retailer)

HP 14s-dq1504sa

We like: thin and light, fast

We don’t like: battery life

If you’re searching for a laptop with great specification per pound, then consider this model from HP. We tested a lower-spec model – i5 processor with 256GB SSD storage – and found it to be speedy at common day-to-day tasks. This should only improve with the faster i7 processor. There are better laptops out there, but this is a great price for a model with these specifications. But does this laptop perform in the vital areas for you?

Read our full HP 14s-dq1504sa review, or buy it now at Currys PC World.

Our laptops expert says

‘Currys PC World’s deals vary in quality. For instance, a huge portion of its laptop range is from HP, many of which are exclusive to Currys. This makes it hard to know the true value of a laptop and whether a deal is any good. That said, if you find an HP laptop with a Core i5 processor for under £400 or an i7 for under £500, you’re probably on the right track. Other brands are easier to compare, as you’ll find their products at other retailers. Also, look for the price history information on Currys; if a product has been sold at a non-sale price for more than a couple of months, it’s probably a good deal.’

Currys PC World Black Friday mobile phone deals

Sony Xperia 1II – was £1,099.99, now £799.99 (27% off according to the retailer)

Same price at John Lewis & Partners

Sony Xperia 1II Currys Black Friday deal

We like: excellent rear cameras, battery life

We don’t like: no face scanner

This top-end offering from Sony is a fantastic phone for photographers and filmmakers. It has a triple camera set-up on the back and has 8GB of Ram, so will handle most things you can throw at it. This is a fantastic deal, with a legitimate £300 saving. It’s currently the same price at John Lewis – so go with the store whose returns policy best suits you.

Samsung A21s – was £179.99, now £139.99 (22% off according to the retailer)

Cheaper at Amazon, John Lewis & Partners

Samsung A21s

We like: display, battery life

We don’t like: low resolution

This entry-level offering from Samsung has been available at £150 before, but you’re still getting this at a good deal with an extra £10 off. As it’s an entry-level device, don’t expect it to keep up with flagship models from Apple and Samsung. But if all you’re after is a phone to do the basics well, give this phone a look.

Currys PC World Black Friday headphone & sound bar deals

LG SN11RG sound bar – was £1,499, now £749 (50% off according to the retailer)

Same price at Richer Sounds

LG SN11RG sound bar

We like: subwoofer and rear speakers included, wifi/bluetooth enabled

We don’t like: some ease of use issues

Although seen at £1,300 earlier in the year, this sound bar deal saves a whopping £551. The inclusion of a subwoofer and rear speakers means you can easily set up a home cinema experience, and it supports pretty much every sound technology – including Dolby Atmos. If you want to transform your movie viewing experience seriously consider checking this out. We found it to have strong bass, but how does it handle treble?

Currys PC World Black Friday smart security deals

Ring Door View Cam – was £119, now £74 (38% off according to the retailer)

RING Door View Cam Black Friday deal

We like: easy to install on an existing door peephole

We don’t like: subscription required to store videos

With other retailers currently stocking this at £79, you can save a further £5 on this Black Friday deal. This is quite an unusual product. The View Cam works with the door’s existing peephole. It consists of a slim camera unit that goes on the outside of your door, with a long thin tube threading down the peephole and fixing to the power unit attached to the inside of the door.

Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus – was £199, now £129 (35% off according to the retailer)

Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus

We liked: easy to use, clear sound

We don’t like: subscription required to store videos

We’ve seen the Ring Doorbell 3 Plus at £169 before, so this Black Friday deal of £129 is an extra £40 saved. It’s currently £129 at multiple retailers, so go for the one with the returns policy that suits you. If you’re looking to enter into smart security, the sound is brilliant – but is the video quality suitable for your needs?

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active – was £199, now £129 (35% off according to the retailer)

Cheaper at Amazon

Same price at John Lewis & Partners, Argos

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active Smart Watch Currys

We liked: excellent tracking for swimmers, lots of apps

We don’t like: less suited for Apple than Android users

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active is currently £129 across lots of retailers and £128 at Amazon, so go for the one that has the best returns policy. Whilst it’s been available for £150 on Amazon earlier this year, you’re still saving £21-£22 on this great smartwatch. It is also available in black and rose gold colours. If you’re an avid swimmer this watch is great for you, but does it cover your other sporting activities?

Cheaper at Amazon

Same price at  John Lewis & Partners

Fibit charge 4 Black Friday deals

We liked: long-lasting battery, lightweight and comfortable

We don’t like: hard-to-read screen in bright light

The Fitbit Charge 4 fitness tracker has been at £120 before – but this deal still offers a fantastic £20 saving. The fitness tracker has a built-in GPS, so you don’t have to use your phone’s for your runs. At just over 25g this tracker is super-light as well so is easy to integrate into your day-to-day life. Can it track everything you want it to?

Garmin Venu – was £299, now £199 (33% off according to the retailer)

Garmin Venu currys black friday

We liked: build quality, range of sport features

We didn’t like: inaccurate heart-rate monitor

If you’re a dedicated sports person looking for a watch with lots of fitness features – check out this deal. While we have seen this watch at less than £299 in recent months, this £199 offering on the blue/silver model is the cheapest we’ve seen. Currys PC World also has this model in black/slate grey and light sand/rose gold, but these colours are on sale at £229. Could this be the smartwatch for you?

Read our full Garmin Venu review, or buy it now at Currys PC World.

Our smartwatches expert says

‘There are plenty of smartwatches and fitness trackers on sale at Currys, including some from big brands such as Fitbit, Garmin and Huawei. Most of the wearables on sale at Currys are the same price in at least a couple of other retailers, though. So, if you spot a bargain at Currys, but you’re put off by our recent investigation into poor customer service at Currys then don’t worry, as it’s likely you’ll be able to get the same deal elsewhere.’

Currys PC World Black Friday smart tech deals

Amazon Fire TV Stick (3rd gen) with Alexa Voice Remote (2020) – was £39.99, now £24.99 (38% off according to the retailer)

Cheaper at John Lewis & Partners

Same price at Amazon, Very

Amazon Fire TV Stick (3rd gen) with Alexa Voice Remote (2020) Black Friday Deal

We like: easy to use, plenty of apps, controls TV volume and power

We don’t like: some features not well explained

This is a great non-4K TV streamer, offering apps for YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ and many more. You’re also able to control the TVs volume and power straight from this remote, so you only need one to hand when streaming from this device. It also has Alexa voice control if you want to integrate it with your smart home. The Fire TV stick has been reduced to £24.99 by many retailers and John Lewis has it for £24.95, so go with the one that has the returns policy you like.

Currys PC World Black Friday kitchen appliance deals

Kenwood Kmix KMX760CH – was £549, now £249 (55% off according to the retailer)

Kmix kmx760 Currys black friday

We like: easy to use, excellent at kneading

We don’t like: heavy, attaching splash guard is tricky

This stand mixer was £249 last Black Friday – but is still a fantastic deal on a brilliant product. You can usually get this model for around £349, so it’s closer to a £100 saving. It comes with a beater, dough hook and whisk attachments – and is available in four different colours. The black and silver models are currently out of stock at Currys, but you can still get the gold or pink.  If you are an avid baker this is definitely a deal to get your hands on. It’s great at kneading, but how well does it make buttercream?

Dolce Gusto by Krups Olbo KP110840 – was £89.99, now £28 (69% off according to the retailer)

Dolce Gusto by Krups Olbo KP110840

We like: easy to use, good espresso

We don’t like: noisy

The Krups Olbo, which uses the Nescafé: Dolce Gusto pods, is often discounted throughout the year. Having spotted this model as cheap as £35 before, Currys 69% off is a bit misleading. However £28 is still the cheapest we’ve seen this coffee machine, and if you want one that uses pods and is easy to use then this is well worth considering. It makes great espressos – but how do the cappuccinos stack up?

Read our full Krups Olbo KP110840 review, or buy it now at Currys PC World.

Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK – was £129, now £89.99 (30% off according to the retailer)

Cheaper price at ao, Very

Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK Currys Black Friday

We like: dishwasher safe parts, recipe booklet

We don’t like: not very energy efficient

If you are looking to enter into the air-frying market, then the Ninja AF100UK is a great model to start with. We found it easy to use and it comes with a great recipe book to get you started. But Currys isn’t offering the cheapest deal right now. A few retailers have this product at £89, so go for the one with the best returns policy.

Similar price at Very, John Lewis & Partners, Argos

Shark Anti Hair Wrap with Flexology IZ201UK Currys Black Friday Deal

We like: easy to use, great on hard floors

We don’t like: not great on low power settings

This is a single battery version of the IZ251UKTDB cordless vacuum that is currently on offer for £349. If you don’t want lots of extra attachments or batteries this may be a good vacuum to consider. It’s often on sale for  £250, but it’s still a decent £50 saving. It has good battery life – but will it last long enough to get the carpets done?

Dyson V8 Absolute Extra – was £399, now £299 (25% off according to the retailer)

Same price at John Lewis & Partners

Dyson V8 Absolute Extra Deals

We like: dust ejector bin

We don’t like: short battery life on turbo setting

The Dyson V8 Absolute is usually around £350 – not £399 – but this is usually as cheap as this vacuum goes. This model at Currys comes with an additional hard floor and motorised tool.

If you fancy something unique, Dyson is selling an exclusive V8 Absolute Pro variant (currently out of stock) that has a black cleaning tube and two additional tools beyond the existing version.

Shark Anti Hair Wrap with Flexology and TruePet IZ251UKTDB – was £549, now £349 (36% off according to the retailer)

Shark Anti Hair Wrap with Flexology and TruePet IZ251UKTDB

We like: great at cleaning hardwood floors, three batteries

We don’t like: weaker on low power settings

While we’ve seen this product on sale at £349 before, it’s typically on sale at £499 – meaning this is still a great deal. This model comes with three batteries, which is pretty rare. When you consider a vacuum battery can typically cost around £80 – this deal is even more attractive.

There are variants of this vacuum at other retailers that are cheaper – due to coming with fewer batteries. If you’re not fussed by this deal, take a look at our Black Friday Dyson and Shark deals for more great cordless vacuum deals.

Hotpoint NSWR 943C washing machine – was £339.99, now £249 (27% off according to the retailer)

Hotpoint NSWR 943C currys black friday

We like: spin removes lots of water

We don’t like: uses a lot of water

We saw this washing machine available at £269 in October, but you’re still £20 better off with this Currys PC World Black Friday Deal. Its maximum load for synthetics is 4.5kg, so it should cope well with the family laundry. But are the washing programs fast enough for you?

Samsung WW90T554DAW

We like: remote control via app, AddWash door

We don’t like: uses a lot of water

This washing machine was already discounted to £519, and has now got a further £50 off.  This model lots of useful extra features. You can control it via an app from your phone, so you should definitely be considering this washing machine if you want to enter the smart home market. It may have some fancy features, but how good is it at actually cleaning your laundry?

Our washing machines expert says

‘Washing machines aren’t the impulse or treat purchase that a new smartphone, TV or pair of headphones are, so don’t be lulled into buying a new model if you don’t really need one. But if you’re on track to replace an old washing machine or are renovating your home and think you’re overdue for an upgrade, you’ll find a great range of washing machine deals on the Currys website. These could save you more than £100 on some fantastic Best Buys.’

Hisense 32A5600FTUK – was £199, now £179 (10% off according to the retailer)

Hisense 32A5600FTUK Deal to Avoid

This 32” TV may be at a low price, but it’s only a £20 saving on a unit that was found to have terrible sound from our testing. In general we’ve moved away from recommending 32-inch TVs, as we’ve seen so many of poor quality over the past few years. If you can afford to spend a bit more, and have the extra space, it would be worth considering a 40 or 43-inch 4K TV. Take a look at the  Best Black Friday TV deals retailers have to offer.

Canon Pixma TS5151 All-in-one printer – £59.99

Canon Pixma TS5151 printer Black Friday deal to avoid

This printer is OK at printing photos, but our tests found it wasteful with ink, and black text didn’t look crisp or professional. In addition, despite being labelled as a Black Friday deal on the Currys PC World website, this printer has been at £59.99 for most of this year – falling to as low as £40 for short periods of time. We think you should avoid this misleading deal, and find the best Black Friday Printer Deals here.

Skullcandy Hesh 3 – was £89.99, now £49.99 (44% off according to the retailer)

Skullcandy Hesh 3 bad black friday deal

These headphones performed poorly for comfort and sound quality in our tests. You can consistently find these headphones for £60 at multiple retailers throughout the year, so the saving is actually only £10. Considering all this, we think you should avoid these headphones.

JLab Go Air wireless Bluetooth earphones – was £29.99, now £21.99 (27% off according to the retailer)

JLab Go Air wireless bluetooth earphones bad black friday deals

These earphones are low in price, but according to our lab test their sound quality and fit are poor. The £8 saving is legit, but we cannot recommend these earphones when there are lots of Black Friday deals on other wireless earbuds this year.

Take a look at our full JBL Go Air review to find out more, or take a look at our headphone reviews to find one that suits you.

Huawei GT 2 – was £149, now £119 (20% off according to the retailer)

Huawei GT 2

Our lab tests found this smartwatch to have very poor heart rate monitoring. For the price of £119 we don’t recommend this watch if your main purpose for buying it would be for fitness training, as it doesn’t get the basics right.

Hisense 55U7QFTUK TV – was £899, now £549 (39% off according to the retailer)

This huge discount may be jumping off the page, but this 55” TV is often at £599 throughout the year – so you’re actually only saving £50. Our independent lab tests also found problems with this TVs picture and sound. All in all, we think you can get a much better TV for your money.

This huge discount may be jumping off the page, but it’s not uncommon to find the Major III headphones for less than £129 throughout the year. In addition, our expert Which? lab tests show the sound quality make this set of headphones one to avoid.

JBL Tune 120TWS Wireless Earphones – was £89.99, now £44.99 (50% off according to the retailer)

JBL Tune 120TWS deal to avoid

Half price looks great, but our extensive audio tests found that the sound from these earphones to be thin and lacking depth. Add to this a battery life that’s shorter compared with its rivals, we think you can pick up better alternatives for a similar price, so see our pick of the best headphones.

JBL Tune 220TWS Wireless Earphones – was £99.99, now £49.99 (50% off according to the retailer)

JBL Tune 220TWS

Again, 50% off is great on paper, but we think that you can find a better set of wireless earphones. Our expert lab tests found them difficult for some to get a comfortable fit and the battery life is extremely poor compared with other wireless earphones. The sounds wasn’t very impressive, either.

LG SL8YG Sound Bar – was £579, now £399 (31% off according to the retailer)

LG SL8YG sound bar

We have found this sound bar available at other retailers for £449 since August, and it’s currently priced at £399 at Richer sounds. While you can find a better deal elsewhere, we still wouldn’t recommend buying this set. We believe you can get a better sound bar for a similar price – see our sound bar reviews.
