Liverpool Victoria, Nationwide and John Lewis have all closed the gap on the top scorer this time round, though, increasing their own overall scores to 76%, 73% and 73% respectively.
The best of the rest
Other providers retaining their WRP status include The Co-operative Insurance, Saga, 50 Plus Insurance Services and Marks & Spencer Money.
Which? Recommended providers for car insurance offer a high quality policy with above-average score for customer service. Nationwide achieved the best policy score (80%) in our analysis, whilst our members gave the best customer service score to NFU Mutual.
Lower achievers
At the other end of the scale, Castle Cover, despite an above-average score of 68% for customer satisfaction, had the lowest policy score of 50%. The poorest overall scorer (56%), however, was Allianz – pulled down by low customer satisfaction to the bottom of our table.
