    Argos Black Friday TV deals

    LG 50UP77006LB - now £449

    LG 50UP77006LB
    • We like: HDR is used well, clear dialogue
    • We didn't like: 4K detail is inconsistent, awkward menus

This model is a low-end set in LG's range, but it still comes with voice control and the same accessibility features as more expensive LG TVs. This includes grayscale to improve clarity for colour-blind viewers and a high-contrast mode to emphasise text on menus.

4K only manages high detail in some scenes. It's not blurry at all, but it should be eye-poppingly precise.

This TV's £449 at a range of retailers, including Argos and John Lewis (five-year guarantee included). But check it's right for you before you buy - see our LG 50UP77006lb review.

    Argos Black Friday laptop deals

    Acer Chromebook 311 - now £159.99

    Acer Chromebook 311
    • We like: Portable, decent sound quality
    • We didn't like: Poor keyboard, touchpad and webcam

This is a surprisingly good device for the price. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a more expensive model, but if you're looking for a budget laptop and can live with the limitations of Chrome OS, it's worth considering.

It has a MediaTek MT8183 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB SSD storage.

The Acer Chromebook 311 normally retails at around £249 but it's currently on offer at Argos for £159.99

Read our full Acer Chromebook 311 review to see if it meets your needs, or buy it from Argos now.

    Google Pixelbook Go (13 8 GB) - now £729
    Google Pixelbook Go

    • We like: Fast and light, lovely to use
    • We didn't like: Poor speakers

Google's Pixelbook Go is a capable Chromebook that offers speedy performance and portability - it weights only 1.05kg and is very thin and compact. As it's a Chromebook, it runs ChromeOS. It has a Core i5 processor 8GB Ram and 128GB SSD storage.

The only major downside are the shallow and tinny sounding speakers.

The Pixelbook Go is currently on offer at Argos for £729, but make sure it's right for you before you buy. Take a look at our Google Pixelbook Go review to see if it meets your needs.

    Huawei Matebook X Pro 2021 - £1,199

    Huawei Matebook X Pro 2021
    • We like: Light, great screen, decent touchpad, plenty of storage
    • We didn't like: Pop-up webcam isn't great

The Huawei Matebook X Pro 2021 is a premium-priced small laptop that is powerful enough to take on more intensive tasks, such as photo editing. It has a great touchscreen with a 3,000 x 2,000-pixel resolution, so colours are bright and punchy.

Inside it's powered by a quad-core, hyper-threaded Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, 16GB of Ram and a 1TB SSD, of which 814GB is available for use as storage.

The Huawei Matebook X Pro is normally pricey, retailing for £1,599. We found it for £1,199 from Argos, which is a pretty good deal.

That's still a lot of money, though, so read our full Huawei Matebook X Pro 2021 review to see if it meets your needs, or get it now from Argos.

Argos Black Friday mobile phone deals

    Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G - £309

    Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G
    • We like: Easy to use
    • We didn't like: Not waterproof

The cheapest 5G phone in Xiaomi's Mi 11 range. This version has 128GB of internal storage (106GB after the bloatware) and a micro-SD card slot for adding on more. It's powered by a hefty processor - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G with 8GB of Ram, and a 4,520mAh battery.

Like other phones in the range, it has a large OLED screen (this one measures 6.6-inches). The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G also has a triple camera; 64Mp wide, 8Mp ultrawide and 5Mp Macro tele-macro lens plus a bonus 20Mp wide lens on the front. Check out our Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G review for the full test results.

You can currently buy this phone for £309 instead of £399. Buy it from Very.co.uk in a Citrus Yellow colour or from Argos in a Mint Green or Midnight Grey colour.

    Samsung Galaxy S21 5G 128GB - now £649

    Samsung Galaxy S21 5G

    • We like: A feature packed flagship from Samsung
    • We didn't like: Slow charging

Equipped with a more powerful processor, the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G has 128GB of internal storage, but this can't be extended, as Samsung has done away with the micro-SD card slot. It's also missing a headphone jack, so you'll need to use an adaptor with wired earphones.

Additionally, being IP68 certified, it's dustproof and waterproof (up to six metres deep for up to 30 minutes).

Read our Samsung Galaxy S21 5G review for the full test results, or buy it now from Argos.

    Argos Black Friday mattress deals

Silentnight Studio Eco pocket sprung mattress (double), now £292 with code

Silentnight Studio Eco pocket sprung mattress
    • We like: Contains fibres made from recycled plastic bottles, 60-night comfort exchange
    • We don't like: It's hard to move about as there aren't any grip handles

Argos currently has this Silentnight Studio Eco double mattress on offer with 20% off using the code SILENT20 at the checkout. This brings the already fairly reasonable full price of £365 down to just £292, so this is a great price if you need a mattress but are on a tight budget.

Silentnight claims its Studio Eco pocket-sprung mattress contains fibres made from 100% recyclable plastic bottles, which will 'bring you incredibly cosy comfort without costing the earth'. At its core there are 1,000 18cm pocket springs, sandwiched between layers of the recycled material, to help provide body support.

Argos Black Friday vacuum cleaner deals

    Dyson V11 Absolute - now £439

    Dyson V11 Absolute
    • We like: Great cleaning on all surfaces.
    • We don't like: You have to hold down power trigger continuously.

The Dyson V11 Absolute has a smart digital display that lets you know exactly how much cleaning time you have left. There's also a handy auto mode that adjusts the suction as you clean, helping conserve battery life.

The best Black Friday deal we've spotted on the V11 Absolute is £434 (saving £166 on the full retail price of £599) at Donaghy Bros and JC Campbell Electrics. Argos and Currys are close behind with price drops to £439.

If blue's not your colour and you prefer nickel or gold, Dyson is offering £100 off the full retail price in all three colours.

Read our Dyson V11 Absolute review to get our full verdict. Or buy it now at Argos, Currys, Donaghy Bros, Dyson, Euronics, JC Campbell Electrics, Sonic Direct or Very.

    Shark IZ201UK - now £179.99

    • We like: Great cleaning on hard floors and upholstery.
    • We don't like: Less effective on carpets.

If you're going cordless for the first time, this easy-to-use model is a good choice: the controls are simple, it's good at tackling pet hair and you get plenty of cleaning time.

But be warned: it's not great on carpets. So if your home is predominantly carpeted, there are better options.

This cord-free Shark usually costs £249, but it's currently available for £173.40 at Amazon, which is the lowest price we've found. For £179 you can pick it up from AO.com, Argos, Euronics, John Lewis, Shark and Very. Or, read our Shark IZ201UKT review to get our full verdict.

    Shark IZ251UKT, now £299.99

    Shark IZ251UKT
    • We like: Superb battery life, picks up pet-hair
    • We don't like: Less effective on carpets

If you have hard floors or floorboards, the Shark TruePet is worth considering. It's fantastic at sucking up dust and debris on those surfaces, as well as on upholstery, and if you're a pet owner you'll find it expertly picks up dog and cat hair, too. It also runs for an impressive amount of time. Some cordless vacuum cleaners last less than 10 minutes on the highest setting, but you'll get a good 34 minutes from this Shark, and more than an hour on the hard floors setting.

It normally retails at £349, but you can pick it up as an Argos Black Friday offer for £299.

Despite being a good vacuum cleaner, this Shark does have some downsides - read our Shark IZ251UKT review to find out more. Or buy it now for £299.99 at Argos.

Returning Black Friday purchases to Argos

If you want to return an item, anything bought before Christmas can be returned until 24 January 2022 - slightly longer than the usual 30-day return window. You'll need to return it unused, with tags still attached, and in its original packaging, and you'll need to show your proof of purchase.

For orders that were delivered to your home, you can arrange a collection via Argos' live chat service; small items can also be returned by post. Any item can be returned to an Argos store, regardless of whether it was delivered to your home. However, you can't return your item to a Sainsbury's collection point, even if you picked it up from there.

If you experience a problem with something you've bought from Argos, you can try searching its product support site, which offers answers to frequently asked questions, product manuals, set-up guides and contact details for getting more support.
